>Job explains suffering
Who is telling the story?
The 'interaction' between God and satan reads as if they are in a bar and God wants to 'prove' something to satan. Which in itself is ridiculous.
So God is going to 'prove' that Job is his faithful servant to satan? This 'being' is supposed to have rebelled and fell from Heaven. The Creator of the universe has to prove anything to anyone?
Again, who is telling the story?
God doesn't speak the same in the beginning as in the end of Job, why?
Could the story be more about man's desire to explain away the good or bad things that occur?
The 'accuser' isn't satan. It's another man - per Job.
Is it possible that satan = adversary - per translations?
