3.8-magnitude quake shakes Southern California, experts say. ‘Felt it Big Time’
A 3.8-magnitude earthquake shook the Southern California area, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. The more than 6-mile deep quake hit about 4 miles north of Malibu at 2:15 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22, according to the USGS. More than 700 people from as far away as Irvine and Ventura reported feeling the tremor to the agency. “Felt it Big Time Malibu!” a user on X, formerly known as Twitter, said. “Thought the ceiling fan was going to shake right off, fall right above me!”
