Geloca is a hero who once saved an alien species called the Yulus, despite the opposition that they were "too ugly to save." Presumably this act of heroism must have been great, as it gave Geloca a reputation in the Star League akin to the likes of legendary figures like Christopher Columbus, George Washington, and Orville and Wilbur Wright in American society.
