Personally, I prefer never knowing.

Everyone here is for the most part judged on their communication ability, relative and perceived intellect and the strength of their arguments and supporting research.

Not age, race, religion or sex.

Oh yes, I very much prefer never knowing any of you.

I like him, but he lost his edge a long time ago. He hasn't relied on his own research for years and he's been reduced to (seemingly, recently anyway) relying on Breitbart, Corsi, AJ and etc. Mind you I am not offering up an opinion on any of the above - just that he's not doing his own legwork any more.

no, I'm one anti-social motherfucker. I prefer brief chats with people I don't know at all - and if F2F then only random people on the street or in an elevator etc.

For any real discussion I want ot know as little about the other person as possible.

That way I don't have to be nice if they're a fuckhead and I don't have to be worried about if they think I'm checking out their ass or trying to intimidate them or exert alpha-dominance etc.

I spend 15 hours a day managing a team of fucktwats that only 2 of which are worth a damn - but all but 1 are good people. The industry I work in doesn't have enough to fill more than 8 out of every 10 positions so I can't just tell the idiots to go take a hike, and I can't even so much as peep about what I really think about the world because my views are diametrically opposed to what is, basically since about 2011, to 99% of the corporate world.

So yeah, anonymity to speak my mind is a much coveted thing.

And unfortunately, where critical thinking, logic and high creativity, finally the need for a long-view are all the 'top priority' traitsโ€ฆ very, very few fit that description even of the 'acceptable' staff so training only goes so far as well.
