Health Basics QUIZ: Which kills more Americans, cancer or chemotherapy?

One in every three Americans will “contract” some form of cancer in their lifetime, and only about 50 percent will survive that attack. Those are some grim statistics, huh? Now get this: Has any doctor reviewed with you or your loved ones the odds of chemotherapy actually working, or what the statistics are for Americans getting killed by the now infamous chemical medicine that’s supposedly “designed” to kill the cancer?

I’m the Reporter Mentioned in Mueller’s Indictment. Why Hasn’t He Spoken to Me?

I was as surprised as anyone last Friday, when just days before US President Donald Trump’s historic meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, special counsel Robert Mueller dropped an indictment against 12 Russian nationals claiming that they were Guccifer 2.0, the entity that took credit on June 15, 2016, for the hack of the DNC and DCCC.

I was even more surprised to find that I was discussed in Mueller's indictment.

Section 43c of the indictment says, "On or about August 22, 2016, the Conspirators, posing as Guccifer 2.0, sent a reporter stolen documents pertaining to the Black Lives Matter Movement. The reporter responded by discussing when to release the documents and offering to write an article about their release."

I am that reporter.

Part of the reason I was surprised is that I have never been contacted by anyone from Mueller's investigative team. That's one reason I personally know that this is a shoddy investigation, but I'll come back to that in a moment.

People disinclined to simply take Mueller at his word on his unproven accusations will also want to read this article by Carter showing the contradictions between the information in the Mueller indictment and what is available already in public record.

Anyone who looks at that record for themselves can see what the media isn't telling you — that I was far from the first journalist to talk to or interview Guccifer 2.0. It also makes clear that I did not request info from Guccifer 2.0, but was offered it.

However, as I've said, I did nothing remotely wrong in talking to Guccifer 2.0, no matter who is ultimately shown to be behind the account. I was following a story and working a lead. I wanted to find out who Guccifer 2.0 really was and I still do.

Robert Mueller's investigation has now muddied that trail, and hindered the efforts of truth seekers everywhere.

Mansour: If You Think U.S. Intelligence Is Never Wrong, I Have Some Yellowcake for You

Cont from images:

We later learned that the destroyed site was actually an aspirin factory. Oops.

As we know, the threat from Al Qaeda was deadly real, and this wasn’t the last bad call we’d make in regard to Bin Laden’s terrorists.

September 11, 2001 — The “Shock” That “Should Not Have Come as a Surprise”

Hundreds of books, reports, and monographs have been published about the failure to prevent the 9/11 attacks. In the words of the 9/11 Commission, “The 9/11 attacks were a shock, but they should not have come as a surprise.”

The Commission painted a scenario reminiscent of the challenges confronting the U.S. prior to Pearl Harbor: “The combination of an overwhelming number of priorities, flat budgets, an outmoded structure, and bureaucratic rivalries resulted in an insufficient response to this new challenge.” In other words, they had more noise than signal.

And yet even so, despite these difficulties, the Intel Community managed to get this extremely direct warning into the President’s Daily Brief on August 6, 2001: “Bin Ladin Determined To Strike in US.” The briefing even included a warning about “suspicious activity in this country consistent with preparations for hijackings or other types of attacks, including recent surveillance of federal buildings in New York.”

As we know, the Bush administration wasn’t ready on 9/11. As the 9/11 Commission Report showed, we had all the pieces to the puzzle before us, including warnings that Bin Laden’s followers might be training at U.S. flight schools and that Al Qaeda was fixated on bringing down the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers.

Thus another harsh lesson: We can have good intelligence reports, but if we have bad intelligence in our leaders, it’s all for naught.

2003 — The Difference Between Yellowcake and a Cakewalk

We’re all familiar with the multiple intelligence failures of Iraq, but we can pause over three.

First, the wrong-headed idea that Saddam Hussein had WMD. Yes, for sure, he was an evil man, but he was no threat to the U.S. And so, for example, the allegations that Iraq had sought to buy uranium oxide, aka, yellowcake, proved to be bogus.

Second, we were told by the Bush-Cheney administration that U.S. forces would be “greeted as liberators.” The invasion would be, as one giddy neocon put it, a “cakewalk.” Yeah, not quite. In fact, U.S. fatalities in that conflict have totaled nearly 4,500, with another 32,000 injured.

Third, we were told by President Bush, backed up by his neocon brainiacs, that Operation Iraqi Freedom would touch off a wave of democratization across the Middle East. Instead, it’s touched off a wave of civil wars and genocidal ethnic cleansing of ancient Christian communities, such that it’s likely that soon there won’t be any Christians in the region that gave birth to Christianity.

I could go on. I could wrote ten volumes on the intelligence mistakes of Hillary Clinton alone—she, who voted for the Iraq War, was eager to “liberate” Libya, and left our ambassador defenseless in Benghazi.

Or I could write about Senator John McCain—who also voted for the Iraq War, cheer-led every dumb move in Libya, and has supported every other vainglorious exercise, from the former Soviet republic of Georgia to Syria. He never met a foreign conflict he didn’t want to send Americans to die in.

But as we can see, even after all these blunders, there are plenty of Hillary and McCain wannabes in Washington, and they just can’t wait to make the exact same mistakes all over again.

Koch Brothers, Mark Zuckerberg Open Borders Groups Try to Revive DACA Amnesty

The pro-mass immigration GOP megadonor billionaire Koch brothers are uniting with Facebook CEO billionaire Mark Zuckerberg’s open borders lobbying group to try to revive a push that would give amnesty to at least 3.5 million illegal aliens.

The Koch brothers’ LIBRE Initiative teamed with Zuckerberg’s FWD.us lobbying group for a meeting on Capitol Hill to push Republican lawmakers to back an amnesty for the 3.5 million illegal aliens who are eligible and enrolled on President Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

‘Anti-Semite and a Racist’: The Scandals Following Labour’s Shift to the Far Left

The Labour Party’s NEC was accused of a cover-up over its investigation of anti-Semitism at OULC by choosing only to publish the report’s recommendations rather than the full report which outlined that students within the OULC were engaging in anti-Semitism, often times, but not exclusively, dressed up as anti-Zionism.

Former Labour leader and centrist Ed Miliband was said to have been “deeply disturbed” that same year by “reports of anti-Semitism in the Oxford University Labour Club”, leading to the Jewish heritage Oxford alumnus to cancel a speaking appearance at the university.

‘Whitewash’ for Peerage

In April 2016, Corbyn appointed human rights activist Shami Chakrabarti to investigate allegations of institutionalised anti-Semitism in the party — sparked by the suspension of Naz Shah.

However, Chakrabarti revealed at a press conference in the following July that her investigation had concluded that “the Labour Party is not overrun by antisemitism, Islamophobia or other forms of racism”.

During the press conference, Corbyn compared the Israeli government to Islamic State and a Jewish MP fled the conference room in tears after being accused by a far-left, Corbyn-supporting Momentum activist of conspiring with the right-wing press — another common anti-Semitic trope — sparking fresh accusations of institutionalised anti-Semitism.

Less than a month later, Corbyn nominated Chakrabarti for a seat in the House of Lords — prompting accusations the human rights activist conducted a “whitewash” review in exchange for elevation to a peerage by Jewish groups including the Board of Deputies of British Jews and the Campaign Against Antisemitism.

Subsequent polls revealed that British Jews are fleeing the Labour Party in droves, with the Antisemitism Barometer finding that four in five Jews believe that the party harbours anti-Semites in its ranks.
