The Culper Code Book was used by the Culper spy ring to send coded messages to George Washington's headquarters during the Revolutionary War.

Under the orders of General George Washington, Major Benjamin Tallmadge organized the Culper Spy Ring in 1778 to gather information on British troop movements, fortifications, and military plans in the New York area.

Informants used fake names and a numerical code book consisting of seven hundred and sixty-three numbers representing words, names, and places to communicate their information. Developed by Tallamadge, the Culper Code was essential in protecting the vital communications and identities of this important intelligence gathering group. (source)

If He Entered Canada

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who, as we reported, was busy dancing happily at a Taylor Swift concert Friday night as pro-Hamas forces rioted on the streets of Montreal, said at a Thursday press conference Thursday that he would have Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrested if the premier arrived on Canadian soil. As Tim Walz might say, the guy is just plain “weird.” His comments come after the ICC embarrassed themselves by issuing arrest warrants for Netanyahu as he is engaged in a fight for the survival of Israel against permanent aggressors Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran. RedState’s Streiff reported:

Federal funding for the country’s largest abortion provider may have had its hey-day after President-elect Donald Trump tapped Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to head the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to cut wasteful spending on useless programs such as transgender and woke DEI— with funding for abortion clinics the first to go. In a joint Wall Street Journal op-ed, Musk and Ramaswamy outlined their plans to cut funding from Planned Parenthood— the nation’s largest abortion clinic. The two Trump-appointed cabinet picks suggested they are eying everything from "$1.5 billion for grants to international organizations to nearly $300 million to progressive groups like Planned Parenthood.”

Supreme Court takes up another federal agency power challenge

by Zach Schonfeld - 11/22/24 3:15 PM ET

The Supreme Court announced Friday it will hear a case that could deliver another blow to federal agencies’ powers.

The justices agreed to take up the government’s appeal of a decision invalidating the Universal Service Fund (USF), a federal subsidy aimed at providing affordable telecommunications services to rural and low-income consumers. It spends about $9 billion annually.

A lower panel found the funding mechanism violates the nondelegation doctrine, which bars Congress from delegating its lawmaking powers to the executive branch.
