The head of Washington, D.C.'s elite National Child Research Center (NCRC), James Carroll, was arrested.
for allegedly soliciting a s*x video from a 9-year-boy.
Founded in 1928, NCRC is the city’s oldest continuously operating preschool, serving children aged 2 and up.
The report of suspected child s*x abuse material emerged on September 11.

#OTD in 1963, Lee Harvey Oswald was shot by Jack Ruby in Dallas. It was the second major historic event witnessed by Oswald's escort, detective Jim Leavelle (wearing the distinctive tan suit). Leavelle had also been a sailor on USS Whitney during the attack on Pearl Harbor.
