Confirmed: RINO Mitch McConnell Delivers Message to President Trump Against Recess Appointments

https://rinowatch.com/confirmed-rino-mitch-mcconnell-delivers-message-president-trump/

Outgoing Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is once again drawing ire from conservatives after reports surfaced that he opposes President Trump’s potential use of recess appointments to bypass Senate gridlock.

RINO McConnell is siding with Democrats to obstruct Trump’s agenda.

The Gateway Pundit reported on Monday that according to a now-deleted tweet by Jane Mayer of The New Yorker, McConnell was quoted at a Washington gathering on Sunday as saying, “There will be no recess appointments.”

The tweet was later deleted for unclear reasons, and Mayer has neither retracted nor issued a clarification following its removal.

Assistant News Director for Florida Voice News called out Mayer, stating, “Why delete it? And NO retraction OR correction is listed on her account. Was she given a command by a higher up because of the blowback?”

Mayer’s silence following the tweet’s deletion has raised eyebrows, but conservative Senator Rick Scott pushed back against McConnell’s alleged comments, declaring firmly, “Yes, there will be [recess appointments].”

ABC Congressional reporter Allison Pecorin asked McConnell on Monday whether he would support adjourning the Senate to allow President Trump to make recess appointments. McConnell dismissed the question with a flippant remark, saying, “Too early for interviews in the hall.”

However, Punchbowl News reporter Andrew Desiderio confirmed that McConnell indeed privately expressed opposition to the idea.

“McConnell did, in fact, make a comment yesterday — which was first revealed by a New Yorker reporter who subsequently deleted her tweet — indicating he’d oppose recess appointments,” he wrote.

“Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell signaled at a private event Sunday night that he opposes President-elect Donald Trump’s demand for recess appointments,” Punchbowl News reported.

The news outlet continued, stating, “Of course, McConnell won’t be in charge of the Senate next year, so his pronouncement here doesn’t have as much weight as, say, if incoming Senate Majority Leader John Thune were to say something similar. Thune and other top Senate Republicans have taken a cautious line on this so far, saying that they will work to quickly consider Trump’s nominees with hearings and confirmation votes.”

Attention has now turned to Senator John Thune (R-SD), McConnell’s protégé and a successor.

In a press conference Wednesday, Thune stated, “We will look at and explore all options to make sure [President Trump’s nominees] get moved quickly.”

He also took to X to emphasize, “We must act quickly and decisively to get the president’s nominees in place as soon as possible, & all options are on the table to make that happen, including recess appointments. We cannot let Schumer and Senate Dems block the will of the American people.”

Trump Treasury Pick Bessent to Prioritize Tax Cuts

https://www.newsmax.com/finance/streettalk/scott-bessent-trump-tax/2024/11/25/id/1189264/

President-elect Donald Trump's nominee for U.S. Treasury secretary, Scott Bessent, will prioritize delivering on election tax cut pledges, he told The Wall Street Journal in an interview published Sunday.

Bessent told the WSJ that tax cut measures would include making Trump's first term tax cuts permanent, as well as eliminating taxes on tips, social-security benefits and overtime pay.

Bessent would also focus on enacting tariffs, cutting spending and maintaining the status of the dollar as the world's reserve currency, he told the newspaper in the interview.

Bessent, who has been a donor, economic adviser and booster on TV for Trump, was nominated as U.S. Treasury secretary by Trump on Friday.

Bessent has spent his career in finance, working for macro investment billionaire George Soros and noted short seller Jim Chanos, and has advocated for tax reform and deregulation, particularly to spur bank lending and energy production, as noted in a recent opinion piece he wrote for The Wall Street Journal.

As U.S. Treasury secretary, Bessent will essentially be the highest-ranking U.S. economic official, responsible for maintaining the world's largest economy, from collecting taxes and paying the nation's bills to managing the $28.6-trillion Treasury debt market and overseeing financial regulation.

The Treasury boss also runs U.S. financial sanctions policy, has influence over the U.S.-led International Monetary Fund, World Bank and other international financial institutions, and manages national security screenings of foreign investments in the United States.

Team Trump Is Threatening RINO Senators with Elon Musk-Funded Primary Opponents If They Derail President Trump’s Picks

https://rinowatch.com/team-trump-is-threatening-rino-senators-elon-musk/

The five RINO Senators who think they were voted America’s leader and refused to support Matt Gaetz for AG.

Mitch McConnell (R-KY)

Lisa Murkowski (R-AK)

Susan Collins (R-ME)

Markwayne Mullin (R-OH)

Sen.-elect John Curtis (R-UT)

Curtis is replacing dirty Trump-hater Mitt Romney. Nice job, Utah. Nice work.

According to ABC News, Team Trump is threatening the RINO Senators with Elon Musk-funded primary opponents if they deraile President Trump’s nominees.

Selina Wang reported on this development on Thursday:

"Selina Wang: Well, Trump has been working the phones. He’s been upping the pressure on Senate Republicans, even calling some of them directly. This is as JD Vance is also making the pitch. He was up on Capitol Hill with Matt Gaetz yesterday meeting with some of those Senate Republicans. And we’re told by a Trump official that those meetings were productive.

But we’re also told that behind the scenes, the Trump team has been playing hardball, and they’ve been giving an ominous warning to any Senate Republicans who might oppose his nominees. One Trump advisor telling her, John Karl, that the message is, “If you are on the wrong side of the vote, you’re buying yourself a primary. That is all. And there’s a guy named Elon Musk who is going to finance it.” The Trump advisor added, The President gets to decide his cabinet, no one else.

This comes as yesterday, those Republicans on the House Ethics Committee voted against releasing that report into the investigation on Matt Gaetz around allegations of sexual misconduct and illicit drug use. Gaetz has denied all wrongdoing.

Some Senate Republicans are saying, though, that the contents of the report, even if it’s not formally released, will get out during the Senate confirmation hearings."

Trump voters are sick and tired of these RINOs who have 5% support from the Republican voter base and think they rule the party.

RFK Jr. Says Trump Gave Him Greenlight To Clean Up ‘Poisonous’ Foods

https://conservativebrief.com/rfk-trump-2-87551/

The man President-elect Donald Trump has tapped to head the Department of Health and Human Services continues to reveal more of his agenda.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., whose family name was near royalty in Democratic circles since the tumultuous 1960s and who left the party in disillusionment over the summer and ran for the presidential nomination as an Independent, is increasingly focused on improving the lives and health of American children. One of Kennedy’s widely reported objectives has been to decrease children’s intake of ultra-processed foods.

“We have a generation of kids who are swimming around in a toxic soup right now,” Kennedy previously told Fox News. “We’re letting these industries corrupt our agencies and mass poison them.”

Dr. Marc Siegel, the senior medical analyst for Fox News, appeared on Fox & Friends Monday to discuss the HHS Secretary nominee’s plans to address the prevalence of ultra-processed foods, which currently make up 73% of the U.S. food supply. He said one of the biggest dangers in processed foods is dyes.

“Food coloring is a problem,” he said. “Red Dye No. 3 has been banned in Europe. They’re banning it in California. It’s been associated with cancer in animals.”

He also said studies have linked food dyes to hyperactivity in kids.

Siegel noted that Democrats and Republicans have advocated banning certain food dyes, but these efforts have faced strong resistance from the food industry and its lobbyists.

“There’s a concern here that if this ends up with more regulations, that will drive prices up—and food grocery store prices are already a problem,” Siegel added, noting that he agreed with RFK Jr.’s concerns about ultra-processed foods harming children. Some of the most harmful additives include MSG and high-fructose corn syrup, which directly contribute to obesity, according to Siegel.

Nitrates are another concern, as studies have shown they can cause cancer in animals, Siegel explained. He also highlighted the health risks associated with excessive sugar and salt consumption. “People just get drawn in to eat and eat and eat, and they gain weight,” Siegel said.

“When they gain weight, they get high blood pressure, they get diabetes, they get heart disease, and they have a risk for cancer,” he added.

The physician and Fox contributor nevertheless noted that there are a lot of regulatory hurdles that Kennedy Jr. will have to successfully negotiate.

“There’s pressure being put on the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) by the food industry, by the pharmaceutical industry, by the lobby groups in Congress,” he said. “They have so much power, they pretty much dwarf the FDA.”

The goal isn’t to “shut down big pharma,” Siegel clarified, which also echoed a point RFK Jr. made during a previous interview with NBC News. Siegel pointed out that pharmaceutical companies are making significant advancements, including “tremendous new treatments” and personalized solutions driven by artificial intelligence and other biotechnologies.

But, he noted, the health care system tends to operate like a “sick care system,” profiting from people’s illnesses.

“They should give tax incentives for going on the treadmill or taking a walk in the morning or eating farm-to-table food or having more produce,” Siegel said. “We’ve got to go back to a healthier lifestyle, and then we’ll have less money spent on being ultra sick.”

In his interview with NBC’s Vaughn Hillyard, at one point it got a bit heated as the two discussed RFK Jr’s plans to recommend reducing fluoride in public drinking water.

HILLYARD: And so what does that look like without debating, without going back and forth on the science.

KENNEDY: It’s lowering IQ in our children.

HILLYARD: What would you — on January 2025 we’re 3 months away here, what would you actually do?

KENNEDY: I think fluoride is on it’s way out —

HILLYARD: And how would you make that happen? This is your chance is what you’re suggesting to me. How would you make that happen?

KENNEDY: Listen to what I’m saying! And then I’ll tell you. I think fluoride is on the way out because that court decision, I think the faster that it goes out, the better. I’m not going to compel anybody to take it out, but I’m going to advise the water districts about their legal liability, their legal obligation to their service, to their constituents. And I’m going to give them good information about the science. And I think fluoride will disappear.

Details Of Phone Call Between Trump And Gaetz Revealed

https://conservativebrief.com/phone-trump-87477/

Former Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz had a frank phone call with President-elect Donald Trump about his chances for being confirmed as attorney general and the call was grim, a report revealed on Friday.

Insiders said his “charm offensive” with the Senate went well, but then things fell apart when it became apparent that he would not be able to be confirmed, The Daily Mail reported.

“At best this was going to be complicated and drag on into February, March,” a source said exclusively to Then Mail. “And a strong A.G. is central to everything Trump wants to get started on on day one … immigration, overhauling the D.O.J. …”

On the phone call, the president-elect explained the reality to him but did not push him to step aside.

After both Trump and Gaetz had worked to secure votes, it was apparent that he was still short.

“They spoke and Trump made clear that he couldn’t move the votes in the direction that they needed to move,” a source said.

“Gaetz’s decision came after that,” they added.

“I had excellent meetings with Senators yesterday. I appreciate their thoughtful feedback – and the incredible support of so many. While the momentum was strong, it is clear that my confirmation was unfairly becoming a distraction to the critical work of the Trump/Vance Transition. There is no time to waste on a needlessly protracted Washington scuffle, thus I’ll be withdrawing my name from consideration to serve as Attorney General. Trump’s DOJ must be in place and ready on Day 1,” the former representative said.

“I remain fully committed to see that Donald J. Trump is the most successful President in history. I will forever be honored that President Trump nominated me to lead the Department of Justice and I’m certain he will Save America,” he said.

“I greatly appreciate the recent efforts of Matt Gaetz in seeking approval to be Attorney General,” Trump added on Thursday.

“He was doing very well but, at the same time, did not want to be a distraction for the Administration, for which he has much respect,” he said. “Matt has a wonderful future, and I look forward to watching all of the great things he will do!”

Vice President-elect and Ohio Sen. JD Vance also responded to the news.

“I’m extremely grateful for the work Matt put into the nomination process. He made his decision to withdraw entirely out of respect for President Trump’s administration. Matt is a patriot, and I look forward to seeing what he does next,” he said.

Hours after Gaetz withdrew his name, the president-elect announced that former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi would be his pick.

“I am proud to announce former Attorney General of the Great State of Florida, Pam Bondi, as our next Attorney General of the United States. Pam was a prosecutor for nearly 20 years, where she was very tough on Violent Criminals, and made the streets safe for Florida Families. Then, as Florida’s first female Attorney General, she worked to stop the trafficking of deadly drugs, and reduce the tragedy of Fentanyl Overdose Deaths, which have destroyed many families across our Country. She did such an incredible job, that I asked her to serve on our Opioid and Drug Abuse Commission during my first Term — We saved many lives!” the president-elect said.

“For too long, the partisan Department of Justice has been weaponized against me and other Republicans – Not anymore. Pam will refocus the DOJ to its intended purpose of fighting Crime, and Making America Safe Again. I have known Pam for many years — She is smart and tough, and is an AMERICA FIRST Fighter, who will do a terrific job as Attorney General!” he said.

NEW - Alaska GOP has hired Harmeet Dhillon to recount and review the statewide election results for their Ranked Choice Voting Repeal proposition

This fraudulent voting system was funded by Bill Gates a few years ago and it allowed Lisa Murkowski to be re-elected Senator even though she lost the GOP primary

Every state needs to abolish RCV to restore integrity in our elections

I hope @harmeet uncovers the truth during this AK recount

‘Sarah’ McBride Isn’t Just A Congressman In A Dress But A Trojan Horse To Force Men Into Women’s Spaces Everywhere

https://thefederalist.com/2024/11/25/sarah-mcbride-isnt-just-a-congressman-in-a-dress-but-a-trojan-horse-to-force-men-into-womens-spaces-everywhere/

The state of Delaware has elected a dude in a dress to the House of Representatives. Sarah (formerly Tim) McBride is a man who pretends to be a woman, and he will be going to Congress next year, which has provoked a fight over where he will, well, go when he is in Congress next year.

A battle that has been raging across the country has come to the Capitol — what happens if and when Mr. McBride decides to start strolling into the ladies’ restrooms? House Republicans, who have and will maintain a slim majority, are trying to figure out a response. They are undoubtedly tempted to try to avoid the issue, but the lesson they should have learned by now is that they cannot.

Though some elected Democrats are becoming leery of pushing the transgender envelope, trans activists are not backing down. As we have seen time and time again, every concession to them is seized upon and exploited. They don’t want an accommodating exception for the congressman in a skirt; they want a precedent they can use to advance their agenda.

Their goal is to eliminate women’s ability to say no to men who invade their spaces. Gender ideology demands the eradication of the barriers put in place to protect women from predatory men. It proclaims that a man is a woman as soon as he says he is — and that he must be treated as such under penalty of law.

The same trans activists who insist that medicalized transition is necessary for gender-confused children regard medical transition as optional when it comes to men who want access to female spaces. They have no problem with sexually intact men invading the spaces where women are most vulnerable. The predictable (and predicted) result is that women and girls have been leered at, assaulted, and raped in bathrooms and locker rooms across the country as men have been allowed in.

Furthermore, blue states, along with the Biden administration, have been putting men into women’s prisons, which has also resulted in women being assaulted and raped. For example, a female inmate in New York was raped in the showers by a trans-identifying man, and a woman in New Jersey was reportedly badly beaten by another trans-identifying man. One male prisoner in California was only transferred back to a men’s prison after being accused of raping two female inmates.

What, one wonders, did they expect when they allowed male prisoners to self-identify into women’s prisons, especially when a disproportionate number of trans-identifying individuals are guilty of sex crimes? Consider “Jolene Charisma Starr” (Joel Thomas Nichols), who horrifically raped an 11-year-old girl, later attempted to kidnap a nine-year-old, and has been placed in a women’s prison in Washington State. Other men who have been put into women’s prisons include murderers, rapists, and child pornographers. And that’s just in one state.

As these horrifying examples illustrate, when the transgender movement is given an inch, it takes a mile. McBride may or may not be a threat to the safety of women on Capitol Hill. But allowing him into female-only spaces will be relentlessly used by trans activists to permit any and all men across America to self-identify their way into any female spaces and opportunities they choose.

Trans activists and their allies have made it clear that there is no compromise available. They will not accept any sort of screening, gatekeeping, or other limitation; they will settle for nothing less than complete male access to women’s spaces and places on demand. Saying no to men in women’s sports requires saying no to McBride specifically in women’s bathrooms. Likewise for saying no to men in the girls’ locker room. Ditto for saying no to men in women’s prisons. And saying no to men in women’s bathrooms means saying no to McBride in women’s bathrooms.

McBride and his allies know that this fight is about much more than where one politician pees. Rather, they are seeking to establish — at the very core of American government — that men have an absolute right to access women’s private spaces. They want women to give up their privacy and safety, and all of us to give up our integrity and become complicit in their lies.

Just because a dude in a dress is going to Congress doesn’t mean he gets to go in the ladies’ room.
