While this is certainly hopeful, and we all want to see justice for Ashli, it’s understandable that people are skeptical. After all, the GOP doesn’t exactly have a stellar track record as righteous warriors.
The frustration is absolutely warranted—the GOP has done nothing to earn a reputation as “fighters.” However, there’s one silver lining in all of this: President Trump’s victory. He’s been a compassionate and vocal supporter of the Babbitt family, and with his attorney general pick—hopefully Pam Bondi—there’s real hope that justice will finally be served for Ashli.
