Tariffs are infinitely better than taxes. And you get to protect your domestic workers and industries.
Because exporting stuff makes your country richer. The question is why are we importing anything.
You're a fucking idiot. Countries don't have the same natural resources or manufacturing capabilities and countries don't have the same demands and this applies to states as well. If we're good at making something beyond what our local population wants, and someone else wants to buy it, not exporting the excess to enrich yourself and your country is beyond stupid. You should learn something about economics.
>The big issue is we have to start producing more stuff HERE at home
That was my point asking why are we importing anything. This other guy wants to import but not export which will eventually lead our population to poverty.
Brominated anything is terrible because it removes iodine from the body.
They have a lot more toxic crap to remove from their food before that happens. And their fries taste like chemicals.
I know, I was just providing some illumination to why it's so bad to anyone who hasn't looked into it yet.
>We're on the brink of needing to declare a climate emergency
Had one of those once, just had to turn the AC up.
It's always ok to blame Canadians though.
I hope there's a 100% tariff placed on outsourced jobs.
Doesn't strike me as the type to take it, any sauce?
