‘They Hate You’: RINO Susan Collins Poised to Assume Powerful Senate Role

https://rinowatch.com/they-hate-you-rino-susan-collins-poised-assume/

In yet another display of how establishment Republicans prioritize power and politics over their own base, RINO Susan Collins (R-ME) is set to take the reins of one of the most influential committees in Congress.

Reports confirm Collins is poised to become Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, a role that wields unparalleled control over discretionary federal spending.

This news comes on the heels of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s announcement that he will relinquish the chairmanship, paving the way for Collins, who currently serves as vice chair, to step into the position.

The Appropriations Committee oversees billions of taxpayer dollars, deciding how funds are allocated across the federal government. With Collins at the helm, conservatives are raising alarms about what this means for the Republican Party’s commitment—or lack thereof—to fiscal responsibility and its grassroots base.

“As chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, my priorities will remain helping Maine’s communities, funding biomedical research to save and improve lives, improving our infrastructure, supporting rural economic development, and helping to strengthen our workforce by supporting education, job training, and child care programs,” Collins said in a statement Friday evening, according to Maine Public.

“In the past three years, as I have become an increasingly senior member of the committee, I have secured more than $1 billion for hundreds of projects throughout Maine,” Collins said.

“I look forward to continuing to work to ensure that federal spending produces real results for the American people and that our state’s needs are met.”

The Senate Appropriations Committee, often called the “power of the purse,” is arguably one of the most critical in Congress. By controlling discretionary spending, its chair holds immense sway over how taxpayer dollars are spent—or wasted.

Collins proudly touts her reputation as a moderate, but for many conservatives, her “bipartisanship” is nothing more than a betrayal.

In 2013, the National Journal rated her voting record as 55% conservative and 45% liberal—a nearly even split that underscores her ideological limbo. By 2017, GovTrack named her the “most moderate” Republican in the Senate, placing her politically to the left of several Democrats.

For a party that has fought tooth and nail to push back against an increasingly radical left, Collins’ penchant for playing both sides feels more like surrender than strategy.

Collins has made a career out of breaking with her party on critical issues. In 2017, she was one of only three Republican senators to oppose a partial repeal of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), a cornerstone of Democratic policy that conservatives have been fighting for years to dismantle.

Her vote effectively kept Obamacare intact, leaving Republicans—and millions of frustrated constituents—empty-handed.

But perhaps her most infamous act of defiance came in 2021, when Collins joined six other Republicans in voting to convict President Donald Trump during his second impeachment trial.

For many conservatives, this was the ultimate betrayal, solidifying her status as a senator more aligned with D.C. cocktail parties than grassroots Republican values.

If Collins’ voting record weren’t enough to raise eyebrows, her consistent support for Democratic initiatives and nominees certainly is. She voted to confirm liberal Supreme Court justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, Ketanji Jackson, and Attorney General Merrick Garland, to name a few.

There were reports suggesting that her opposition, along with that of other RINO senators, may have influenced Gaetz’s decision to withdraw from consideration for the role.

Meanwhile, RINO McConnell will now chair both the Senate Rules Committee and the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense—roles that could give him significant influence over key legislative priorities.

The greatest danger to this country and President Trump’s second term agenda are the anti-Trump RINOs.

Prove us wrong!

Elon Musk Fires Off Warning Shot at Dirty Senate RINOs: “Whoever Thwarts the Will of the People Will Lose Either Their Primary or the Mid-Term Election”

https://rinowatch.com/elon-musk-fires-warning-shot-dirty-senate-rinos/

Elon Musk fired off a warning shot at dirty Senate RINOs on Sunday afternoon.

The squishy Trump-hating RINOs in the US Senate are already pushing back against the will of the American people and refusing to approve of President Trump’s cabinet nominees.

It should be noted, as Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) reminded the American people last week. NOT ONE SINGLE DEMOCRAT voted against ANY of Joe Biden’s radical America-hating nominees in 2020!

Not one!

Yet, five Republican Senators forced Matt Gaetz to withdraw his nomination for Attorney General after they announced they would not vote for him.

Elon warned the RINOs on Sunday that we would not give you a pass this time!

Musk’s warning comes on the heels of a fiery statement from “Insurrection Barbie,” who unleashed sharp criticism of Senate Republicans following Trump’s sweeping electoral victories:

So after Trump won the popular vote, the electoral college, all seven swing states, majorities in both chambers of Congress and the most minority support in decades republicans in the Senate:

1. Picked Thune to be Majority Leader- known Trump hater who didn’t want him to even run in 2024.

2. Put Mitch McConnell as the head of the rules committee and the defense spending committee- another known Trump hater who thwarted Trump’s first term agenda every step of the way.

3. Put Lisa Murkowski as head of the appropriations committee- liberal democrat who has almost never voted in line with the Republicans.

That is called saying F you to their voters. Defense spending, rules and appropriations are the three ways to stop a second term Trump agenda.

If we had the senate seats in Arizona, Nevada and WI… the establishment republicans would have been neutered.

I have said from day one that our biggest enemy are Republicans and we need to get super focused on making their life a living hell if they oppose the agenda that we voted for.

We have two years to enact the Trump agenda. We will not forget the RINOs who refused to stand with Trump and his voters.

Texas Expands Land Offer for Trump's Migrant Deportation Centers

https://www.newsmax.com/us/texas-immigration-deportation/2024/11/26/id/1189490/

Texas has upped its support for the incoming Trump administration by offering additional land for deportation centers, part of an initiative named after a 12-year-old girl allegedly killed by illegal migrants, the New York Post reported.

Texas announced Tuesday that it is increasing its land offer to the Trump administration to construct deportation facilities targeting violent criminal illegal immigrants.

The initiative, named the Jocelyn Initiative, honors Jocelyn Nungaray, a 12-year-old allegedly raped and murdered by two illegal migrants and suspected members of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang earlier this year.

Texas Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham revealed the expanded proposal while standing alongside a section of the state's border wall.

"The new project that the General Land Office is going to embark on is the Jocelyn Initiative, in which we will locate appropriate land under my jurisdiction to lease for the construction of violent criminal deportation facilities," Buckingham said during the announcement.

"My office is standing by, ready to make this happen on day one of the Trump presidency," she said. "We are going to do everything in our power to ensure no other parent has to feel the pain that Alexis and Jaclyn are feeling right now."

Jocelyn's mother, Alexis, and grandmother, Jackie, stood alongside Buckingham during the announcement. Jackie expressed the family's support for the initiative, saying, "We're taking back power, we're taking back our peace, and we're taking back hope so that no other families have to go through what our family has gone through. This should've never happened."

Texas had previously offered the Trump administration a 1,400-acre border ranch to facilitate mass deportation efforts. Buckingham said the expanded offer is part of Texas' commitment to being a "good partner" in ensuring that violent criminals who enter the country illegally are removed.

Trump's pick for "border czar," Tom Homan, recently confirmed that the administration intends to utilize the land offered by Texas. Speaking to Fox News, Homan said the initial focus will be on deporting criminal illegal migrants and detailed plans to involve the U.S. military in "non-enforcement" roles to support the effort.

"The more non-enforcement work [the Department of Defense] can do releases more enforcement officers on the street to look for the bad guys," Homan explained.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has said that the state has already spent $10 billion to secure its border with Mexico under the Biden administration. At Tuesday's announcement, Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, expressed his intent to seek federal reimbursement for Texas' border security expenses.

I remember when the IRS used to mail out booklets to tax payers.

And in the front of it there was a letter to the taxpayer, it always stated, "Thank you for making this the best voluntary tax system in the world.

Keyword,VOLUNTARY.

Well, they stopped mailing those out, and people were led to believe they had no choice in the matter since.
