I think that if I had a home appliance manufacturing facility, I think I would be ramping up made in America products. Hire some new production workers, assemble a solid raw material supply chain, streamline my process using statistical process control, and get the ball rolling. The reason I say this is, that as we all know, even during WWII, it took some time to ramp up production. You can't just throw a switch and have it happen over night, you need trained and experienced personnel to hit your stride and that takes a bit of time. If you combine that with actual constitutional money, we should be good, certainly better than we are now, and we won't have to depend on other external sources who may or may not give a shit what happens to us. What was the main theme of the pioneers? Self sufficiency. A little help doesn't hurt, but being totally dependent on external sources for required goods is not an enviable position, it makes you vulnerable.

The funny thing about, "cost more," is, it's way worse than you think. Prices go up because they print more money, so the prices aren't really going up, the purchasing power of the dollar keeps going down. Then there is the aspect of raw materials, the same inflation is working on the raw materials as well. Takes more of the monopoly money to buy raw materials, so manufacturers pass on the cost to consumers, problem is, in order to keep costs low enough, they have to buy cheaper raw materials to keep the consumer price down. It's a big vicious circle that only benefits the bankers, everyone else takes it in the ass.

Unlikely. Go look up Abraham, the city of Harran, and the location today called ลžanlฤฑurfa. They keep changing ancient names. Ancient Ur. There were several places called Ur. The specific one was called Ur of the Chaldees. They keep trying to say it was in Iraq or Iran, forget which one specifically, and there may very well have been one, the the one SPECIFICALLY mentioned is the Chaldean one. The Chaldees are the ones who invented astrology.

It is very likely in my opinion, that the tower of Babel was on the plains outside of ลžanlฤฑurfa. They never actually finished the tower because God intervened, but that was thousands of years ago so I wouldn't expect much of a mound left these days considering it very likely was built of fired mud bricks and pitch.

The catholic church took the already existing pagan holidays and "turned" them into christian holidays to make Christianity more readily acceptable to the pagans at that time. Like most people, they didn't really want to give up their "holidays." People like to party and aren't too worried about the excuse to do it.

You can believe whatever your little heart desires. I don't really care. I'm not saying you are wrong, but I'm not saying you are right either. I do my own research, I may find at some point I agree with you, but currently and under the current circumstances, I don't. I'm sure that won't ruin your day or at least it shouldn't.

There is only one reason for these shepherds to be out in the field with their flock by night: Lambing season. Lambs are usually born in spring, in a time period of about one month (mid march โ€“ april), and during that season, the sheep can not be kept in a pen at night because it would be too crowded for birth:

Unlike most other farm animals, sheep are seasonal breeders and lamb in the spring months when the weather is warming and ample supplies of grass are available. Sheep can be housed for lambing or are more commonly brought to a field close to the farmyard where the shepherd can keep an eye on them.1

When is Passover?

Winter is the busiest season in the pen โ€“ itโ€™s kidding and lambing season.

From late November to late March there will be a number of births each day; between 100 and 200 kids and lambs will be born here. The pen will become a particularly lively nursery. As in previous years during this period, Dr. Tzach Glasser, who manages the pen, is very satisfied. The kidding and lambing season, in which beautiful, healthy kids and lambs are born, is the greatest test of the hard work put into the pen throughout the year.

Yeshua in English would be Joshua. Same thing, but yes, unfortunately many Jews will try to spit at that name. They will however repent and wail some time in the future when they realize their mistake, and they WILL eventually realize it, it's just a question of time.
