ianon just came across a blackmail letter in my email. Any suggestions how i might trace the senders address or the bitcoin address they want me to send the money???

i don't think the shitbags at the FBI/IntelIC will want to help me catch the criminals. Eh?

i didn't do anything wrong… but i DID collect evidence on a (honeypot?) Online Dating site and contacted the administration of the Online Club and ask them to come clean. Shortly thereafter, "Crocodile" sends me a threatening letter to share my Online activity (bluff, because im not embarrassed to have searched, even Online, for a loving woman).

my situation might be a little different.

I don't think my email was "hacked", because i think the perpetrator received it directly from the operators of my "Online Dating" account. After collecting two years of evidence that the "Online Dating" was/is complete fraud, i contacted the Administration and told them of my collecting evidence… THEN the blackmail was attempted a few days later.

i have the [fake] "Dating" Club Administrator and the Blackmailer live on the hook right now at this very minute. I have neither the knowledge nor skills to nab'm instantly… but i also have no fear about them. I can string this along for a bit more.
