Saturnalia

Saturnalia is an ancient Roman festival and holiday in honour of the god Saturn, held on 17 December of the Julian calendar and later expanded with festivities through 19 December. By the 1st century B.C., the celebration had been extended through 23 December, for a total of seven days of festivities.[1] The holiday was celebrated with a sacrifice at the Temple of Saturn, in the Roman Forum, and a public banquet, followed by private gift-giving, continual partying, and a carnival atmosphere that overturned Roman social norms: gambling was permitted, and masters provided table service for their slaves as it was seen as a time of liberty for both slaves and freedmen alike.[2] A common custom was the election of a "King of the Saturnalia", who gave orders to people, which were followed and presided over the merrymaking. The gifts exchanged were usually gag gifts or small figurines made of wax or pottery known as sigillaria. The poet Catullus called it "the best of days".[3]

You know, that is an interesting perspective. I've always realized it was the same kind of thing, but look a little deeper. Ever heard the saying, "the south will rise again?" I'm sure there are some who still believe that. Who had the most in common with the Nazis? Racial purity and all that shit. Remember how Killery had her picture taken with the KKK leader? It seems very likely there is some kind of connection. Was this the "south's" next attempt at, "rising?" Of course not every southerner still adheres to that mentality, but SOME still do.

Ya know, the funny thing about our actual LEGITIMATE currency is, the founding fathers wanted to keep the wealth in the hands of the people to help protect it. They HATED banks and bankers because of the bullshit they try to inflict upon a nation and it's people.

Gold and silver is REAL money, NOT paper or invisible cyber currency. Three main things make the best money.

  1. Limited supply

  2. Readily accepted by the most people.

  3. Not easily counterfeited.

Gold and silver provide those traits.

The thing that's unclear to me is, WHY do they resist and have such angst about Kash? I must have missed that memo or something. What is their major malfunction?

If—

If you can keep your head when all about you

Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,

If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,

But make allowance for their doubting too;

If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,

Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,

Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,

And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;

If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;

If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster

And treat those two impostors just the same;

If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken

Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,

Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,

And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings

And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,

And lose, and start again at your beginnings

And never breathe a word about your loss;

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew

To serve your turn long after they are gone,

And so hold on when there is nothing in you

Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,

Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,

If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,

If all men count with you, but none too much;

If you can fill the unforgiving minute

With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,

Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,

And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

So you mean to tell us that this happened on a SUNDAY in DC? Bwahahahahah. Half of these lazy fuckers would never work on a Sunday unless they wanted to SNEAK something through, you know, like when they snuck the the federal reserve act and the IRS act in during Christmas in 1913.

I call bullshit, but I suppose it could be true. It just means that Hunter was found GUILTY of something and pardoning him would just verify that.

Probably the best solution would be one that they won't want to risk a chance on getting the sentence. The fear of the consequences would probably be the best solution although even then it would not deter some. It would just drive up the cost of the illicit goods, which isn't a bad option either I guess.

Uh, you might want to understand what you read. Who did the counting? God or the Pharisees? Read where Abraham was told to sacrifice Isaac but God was testing him and subsequently provided a ram instead of having to use Isaac. Jesus is once again God's PROVIDED lamb to atone for our fuck ups. That is how grace works. We don't earn it. It's a gift. Otherwise YOU would pay the price yourself instead of the surrogate.
