Trump has also floated the idea of pardoning the president’s son

(NewsNation) — With “nothing left to run for,” President Joe Biden should pardon his son, Hunter, and then resign in order to elevate Kamala Harris to the presidency, said NewsNation contributor Kurt Bardella.

“Make one more mark in the history books while you can. I’m not saying that’s going to happen, but if I were Joe Biden, that’s exactly what I would do,” Bardella said.

President-elect Trump said in October that he would not rule out pardoning Hunter Biden should he win in November’s election.

“I wouldn’t take it off the books. See, unlike Joe Biden, despite what they’ve done to me, where they’ve gone after me so viciously, despite what — and Hunter’s a bad boy. There’s no question about it. He’s been a bad boy,” Trump told conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt.

Trump is projected to win a presidential election for a second time.

Speaking to supporters at around 2:30 a.m. ET Wednesday, Trump said, “This was a movement like nobody’s ever seen before.”
