It is no surprise he gave a complete broad pardon. Pardoning him for some crimes to keep him out of prison while leaving him exposed to go to prison for larger crimes is illogical.
Being President comes with perks. It is a shit job where you are on duty 24/7/365 for 4 years making your pay rate around 30$ per hour.
This does draw attention to needed reform. Politian's family members are easy targets for bribery and blackmail. It will always be a threat to compromising our highest office.
Setting aside who these people are and the crimes they have committed, we need to reform the system that opens the door to this.
Maybe death penalty for the person who offers the bribe? IDK but it is a weakness in our Country. Someone smarter than me needs to figure out how to close the door on this type of thing
