If you’re a worker in Edmonton and think IBEW Local 424 has your back, you’re wrong. This union has devolved into a cesspool of corruption where the leadership cares more about their own pockets than the workers they’re supposed to protect. Corruption, greed, and exploitation are rampant, and the only thing that’s clear is that the union leaders are more concerned with power than the workers who fund them.

From misleading advice to unjust dues deductions, intimidation, and blacklisting, I’ve personally experienced the outrageous treatment that’s become the norm. Edmonton’s IBEW Local 424 isn’t a union—it’s a tool of oppression for its leaders. We’ve been silenced, manipulated, and treated like expendable workers.
