Sir Galahad, now King of Sarras, builds a golden tree upon a hill. Day and night he builds, repairs and beautifies the tree. Finally the tree is completed and Joseph of Arimathea with a group of angels appear with the Grail before Galahad. The grail is now finally uncovered and Galahad gazes upon it. Crown, sceptre, and robe fall from Galahad as he no longer needs them. Galahad thanks God for showing him which tongue may not describe, nor heart think. Having been showed the source of all life and knowledge and power, Galahad is borne to heaven along with the Holy Grail - finally achieving his quest.
All the seats around the round table have been taken by various knight except for 1: the so-called 'Seat Perilous' or Siege Perilous. This vacant seat is reserved by Merlin for the knight who would one day be successful in the quest for the Holy Grail, it is fatal to anyone else who sits in it. Suddenly all the doors and windows in the room close and a old man dressen in white (Joseph of Arimathea) comes in with the young Galahad, dressed in red as a sign of purity. The old man in white lead Galahad to the Seat Perilous and installs Galahad safely in the seat. King Arthur and all the other people immediatly recognize Galahad as being the chosen one (angels surround the group and praise Galahad) and King arther proclaims Galahad to be the greatest knight ever. Galahad is invited to join the Round Table and shortly thereafter the group witnesses an ethereal vision of the Holy Grail. The quest for the holy Grail has begun.

After setting out Galahad finds the domain Castle of the Grail. The lord of the castle - Amfortas, Fisher King and king of the Grail kingdom was charged with keeping the Holy Grail. Amfortas however was wounded by his own Holy Spear before for taking up arms in the cause of unlawful love. The wound of the king does not heal and the king and the land and all inhabitants have fallen under a spell - the land has become barren and wars and sickness ravages the land. The spell can only be lifted until the most blameless knight comes to the castle. This blameless knight how ever must ask 'The Question' in order to heal king Amfortas. Galahad arrives at the castle and sees the wounded king. A procession passes before Galahad: the bearer of the Grail, the damsel with the Golden Dish (the plate with the head of John the Baptist), the two knights with the Seven-branched Candle-stick, and the knight holding aloft the Bleeding Spear - the spear of Longinus which pierced Christ when he was hanging at the cross. Galahad remains silent and does not ask 'The Question' - he fails because he is not ready yet.

Galahad awakens in Castle of the Grail and finds the castle deserted. Galahad rides out of the castle, hoping to find the inhabitants of the castle in the surrounding forest. After leaving the castle the drawbridge immediatly closes behind him and Galahad fall into despair and meets 3 damsels. The first, the Loathly Damsel, is riding upon a pale mule with a golden bridle. This damsel was once beautiful but now she is hideous and wears a red cloak and in her arms she holds the head of a dead king. The second damsel is riding behind her and acts as an esquire. The third damsel, dressed as a stripling, holds a whip with which she drives the two riders. The 2 damsels wander and perform, against their will, deeds of wickedness until the sinless Virgin Knight comes to the Castle of the Grail and askes 'The Question'. The 3 ladies see Galahad and mock and curse him for failing the previous day and restoring peace and plenty to the land. Galahad must encounter many adventures and remain sinless before he can return to the castle of the grail to redeem the sin-stricken land.

Galahad approaches the Castle of the Maidens. In the castle the maidens, the Virtues, are imprisoned and guarded by the seven Knights of Darkness, the seven Deadly Sins. Galahad must defeat Sin and redeem the world by setting free the Virtues. Galahad fights the seven Knights of Darkness and finally manages to defeat them.

After defeating the seven Knights of Darkness, Galahad encounters a monk. The monk blesses Galahad and gives him the keys of the Castle of the Maidens.
before the Son, the virtues were locked up by devils … i wonder if we are at that same point again? need to set the Truth free again , heal the land? need to ask The Question first, what is the Question,… hmmm
Galahad meets Blanchefleur and falls in love with her. On the morning of the wedding however Galahad has a vision of the Holy Grail and knows that only a virgin knight can complete the quest and heal the wounded king Amfortas. With this new-found knowledge Galahad renounces every human desire and leaves Blanchefleur in order to continue the Quest.

After many adventures Galahad finaly returns to the Castle of the Grail. Again the procession of the Grail passed before him. Grown wise with knowledge and suffering, Galahad asks the Question - Galahad asks for the meaning of the procession (the first time Galahad remaind silent and was arrogant for presuming to know meaning of the procession). The Question heals Amfortas and cleanes him from sin, allowing the king to die. An angel bears away the Grail (the red object - the grail is covered in samite) from the castle.
do they ever tell the meaning of the procession? the menorah, st john the baptist head on a platter and the spear of longinus?
it the answer that we can never know the ways of Heaven and you never will unless you humble yourself and ask for the Truth? So no one will know Qs name until everyone on the same page to discover the Truth
i mean, everyone thinks they know the answer to the Q question, but we really dont until they tell us… its something we cant guess at
Having healed king Amfortas, the spell is lifted from the land and peace and plenty once more reign. Galahad rides on a white charger and recieves the blessings of the people.
Galahad, now joined by Sir Bors and Sir Percival, travel the sea in Solomon's ship. The angel with the Holy Grail guides the ship across the sea. Sir Bors and Sir Percival have sinned once and cannot see the grail but because they have persevered faithfully in the Quest, they have acquired the right to accompany Sir Galahad and witness the achievement of Galahad.
