Futuristic technology from the ancient past

Dec 03, 2024 09:14 PM IST

We typically associate Sanskrit with religious texts, or literary works of a bygone era. During the First World War, however, a Sanskrit manual with dramatically different content came to light.

It had instructions on how to make vehicles capable of flight. It described 12 “spectacular” movements that these craft would be able to perform. They would also be able to traverse multiple media.

One of the vehicles described in the manual, the Tripura (three part) craft, could move on land, in the air, on the sea, and underwater. The manual also gave details on how these craft could evade detection.

The aircraft could be camouflaged either with chemical remedies to make its outer surface look like the sky, or using machines and mirrors installed within.

Pilots could use a special device to view the scene on the ground beneath them. They could even use a “sound capturing device” to listen to conversations carried on inside other vehicles.

Oddly enough, all the features just mentioned – the strange movements the craft could perform, their ability to operate on multiple media, maintaining low visibility, and readiness to respond to the movements of other vehicles – characterize what we know of UFOs.

The Pentagon and NASA recently acknowledged that UFOs, or UAPs (unidentified aerial phenomena) are real. Luis Elizondo, who headed the Pentagon’s investigation into UAPs, gleaned many years’ data based on pilots’ and naval officers’ accounts of strange airborne or seaborne objects.

Based on these, he highlighted the unusual features displayed by UFOs. Apparently, UFOs don’t look like the aircraft we are used to. They are tubular, or oval, and don’t have wings or even visible rotors, or windows.

Unlike conventional aircraft, they could not only be airborne without wings, but could accelerate at unusually high speeds, changing direction at gravity-defying velocities.

Elizondo stated that when UFOs were approached by aircraft or submarines, they would accelerate sharply, retreating 60 miles within a few seconds.

Like the vehicles mentioned in the Sanskrit manual, the UFOs were not only capable of sudden retreat, but also of rapid responses to enemy vessels.

They can descend rapidly from a height of 80,000 feet – at speeds roughly 30 times the speed of sound – and position themselves, motionless, above the sea.

They can stay absolutely still, even when buffeted by strong winds and atmospheric currents, unlike the aircraft known to us. Again, rapid descent and the ability to stay still were exhibited by the vehicles described in the manual.

UFOs can go underwater, where they have supposedly been detected moving at roughly twice the speed of nuclear submarines. So they are capable of traversing different types of media.

Observers have seen UFOs rotating, hovering, receding, and moving from side to side like ping pong balls – reminiscent of all the “spectacular movements” described in the manual. UFOs are good at “cloaking” or maintaining “low visibility”.

They are difficult to detect through advanced radar technology, and by the naked eye, alike: all that observers can see is the glow surrounding them.

This is reminiscent of the Sanskrit text’s procedures for camouflaging craft.

People are 'demanding answers' after man is knocked out by 'UFO' in shocking video

12:31 3 Dec 2024 GMT

People are 'demanding answers' after home CCTV footage shows a man getting knocked out by a 'weird object'.

Believers think it's a 'UFO', while others have come up with even crazier theories.

Have a look to see what you think:

A few months ago, a Reddit user shared a mind-boggling video on the platform, and it's certainly divided the crowd.

The viral clip, filmed on 21 July, appears to show a man being knocked over outside of a home shortly after entering the property.

This happens 14 seconds into the video, as an object that appears out of nowhere slams into the door frame.

Friends or family then head outside to check on the individual who fell over.

"So this happened a few days ago in my hometown in Colombia," the user claimed.

"A really fast and strange object knocked a man down to the floor thru the stairs.

"He had 24 stitches at the hospital.

"I wouldn't classify this as an orb as some my friends think neither an animal, what do you guys think?"

As you'd expect, people in the comments were coming up with all sorts of theories, as one person said: "This video is absolutely wild.

"Haven’t ever seen anything like it. Looks like there’s lots of reflection on the side of the vehicle. Not sure if that’s from traffics or what."

While another thought: "It was just something tied to the door tied tight to hold it open. If you watch the door starts to close right before it happened."

Then a third argued: "Not… really. Just actually look at the reflection and you see it actually goes on a lot longer than the 'object'.

"What likely happened here is the guy got knocked out by something from inside, or got electrocuted and jumped back.

"And at the exact same time some bug lit up in front of the camera."

Someone else also questioned: "Idk.. the fact that the dog goes immediately towards where the object came from kinda freaks me out.

Right after that, the dog does move to the body on the ground but its attention is immediately taken to that area. I wonder if the dog's sniffer picked something up."

"The eagle eyes that spotted the object circling around the cement mixer help confirmed depth and motion," a fifth added.

"This is a bug that is flying to the left, then towards the camera then up and over the top right edge of the camera nearly directly at it.

Velocity and size of the object increase relatively proportionally to each other."

Whatever your opinion, we can surely all agree how weird it is?

Manchester Airport responds to 'UFO sighting' claims

18:18, 4 DEC 2024

Manchester Airport has responded to claims going viral on social media that an 'alien orb' was pictured on the taxiway.

The June incident, brought back into the limelight through recent posts on X and Reddit, has stoked fervent debate about the nature of the mysterious object.

Pictures and video that are being shared show a spherical form purportedly snapped at the airport.

The object appears stationary in the sky or "hovering" a short distance above the ground with a plane visible behind it.

The imagery of the UFO sighting claim to be captured from inside the cockpit, according to a post on X by @@triffic_stuff_.

The images have been making the rounds on social media, and various different descriptions have been made. @chrisramsay52 said:

"It was described to be hovering inches off the ground and shot straight up in the air once approached by security."

And @disclosureorg wrote on X: "It is being reported that a #UFO landed and took off at Manchester Airport when approached by a security vehicle."

Manchester Airport strongly refute the claims. A, airport spokesperson told the Manchester Evening News that they believe the images to be fake - and although the video could show a balloon or similar, they saw nothing to prove that it is real.

Users on Reddit are also debating the authenticity of the images. One user @psytechnic has started a thread captioned: "Photo analysis of the Manchester Airport UFO concludes no manipulation of the image." (The Image can be seen in the X post below)

They wrote: "Thought this was pretty interesting analysis of the image, which concludes no manipulation. Obviously doesn't conclude anything is real but confirms its not a simple Photoshop job.

"I think the pilot/co-pilot definitely saw something strange. I don't think they would risk filming/taking photos if they didn't."

One user wrote on the thread: "Any of you notice how the lines in the background go through the object.

It’s not a solid object you can see the lines separating the concrete from the grass", and another person said: "Best friends Dad works at the airport.

He reckons it's just a helium balloon and they have them all the time. I challenged this as it's floating above the ground.".

'Crazy plane lady' Tiffany Gomas wears same outfit from airplane meltdown again and jokes about impending alien invasion

Updated: 21:17 EST, 3 December 2024

'Crazy plane lady' Tiffany Gomas has bizarrely posted about a potential alien invasion.

More than a year after she tearfully screamed 'that motherf***er is not real!' on a United Airlines flight, Gomas is now joking that extraterrestrials could be headed to earth.

In a post to X on Tuesday, the 39-year-old wrote, 'Sooo, who’s ready for the alien invasion that’s supposed to go down today?'

She then changed back into the same ripped jeans and black tank top that she wore aboard the infamous United Airlines flight and posed for a mirror selfie.

'Officially ready for the invasion. Bring it on mf’ers,' she captioned the image.

Responding to the post, a fan wrote, 'Are those the same jeans from the famous airplane flight?'

Gomas fired back, 'Yup… and top, bag, hat.'

Other fans had a field day joking about Gomas' posts, with commentator Blaire White writing, 'We should have listened to you queen'.

It's unclear which alien invasion Tiffany was referring to, but there have been reports of mysterious UFOs over the last few weeks.

Ask a Pol asks:

What’s happening above American skies?

Key Warner:

“You are asking the right question, and I don’t have a full answer,” Senate Intelligence Committee Chair Mark Warner exclusively tells Ask a Pol.

Ask a Pol asks:

What’s happening above American skies?

Key Booker:

“I’ve gotten some information. Today there’s a briefing going on with federal authorities, state authorities to go deeper for all of us in Congress right now,” Booker exclusively tells Ask a Pol.

Caught our ear:

“It’s very concerning,” Booker says.

Rep. Timmons on UAPs: "This is like 50 or 100 years ahead of where we are"

Dec 03, 2024

Ask a Pol asks:

What did you make of responses — and non-responses — to your questions in the public House Oversight UAP hearing on Nov. 13th?

Key Timmons:

“I do think that the government is trying to assess whether it's China or non-human. I think that's really the underlying question,” Rep. Timmons exclusively tells Ask a Pol.

“They have advancements that we don't have, which is not good. But if it's non-human, then, well, we don't know why they're here. So, you know, both of those deserve additional resources to figure out the answer to.”

Do you worry about SAPs — Special Access Programs — hidden from Congress?

“I actually don't care about that at all. I get it, some people want information. There's a lot of information that government has my colleagues should not have, I shouldn’t have.

You know, I am one of five members of Congress still in the Air Force. So, I mean, you know, there's information that Congress might eventually get, but also might never get,” Timmons says.

“Absolutely not. You know, these people can't go through a meeting without tweeting about it. We're gonna give them, like, highly classified information? No!”

Caught our ear:

“This is next level,” Timmons tells us. “This isn't like 10 years ahead of where we are. This is like 50 or 100 years ahead of where we are.”

Rep. Lynch frustrated w/ federal officials for "conflicting briefings" on UAPs

Dec 02, 2024

Ask a Pol asks:

What do you make of the ongoing UAP investigation?

Key Lynch:

“I think we’re getting conflicting briefings from parties that are supposed to be informing Congress,” Rep. Stephen Lynch exclusively tells Ask a Pol. “Some of those briefings seem to confirm sightings and raise more questions. Other briefings seem to downplay.”

Caught our ear:

“You can even ask the same questions and get different answers,” Lynch tells us.
