This was a commissioned hit made to look personal. You commit a crime like this, wouldn’t you want to get away? Why cover your face if you’re gonna sign the bullets? This is just smoke.

This was a paid-for hit and it had to be done this way. My guess is the shooter got a lot of $ and was handed the weapon recently with the bullets which is why the shooter didn’t expect the jamming. A true pro would have fired the gun many times before to prepare.
