What I don't get is why these committee in congress appearing about DOGE suddenly.

DOGE is looking into unconstitutional administrative morasses that self create, act on whims, self enlarge and use taxpayer money to pay for themselves

Doesn't sound like congress need get involved. Unconstitutional entities, right?

And to top it off, Joni Ernst, Koch brothers protege, heads the Senate committee.

These committees sound more like a gate keeping function to control what DOGE goes after and try to limit what DOGE can do.

Supposedly Joe Biden is too old, senile, and frail to be prosecuted for his crimes now.

However, what I've never heard the point brought up that Joe wasn't too old, senile and frail when he committed them.

His current state should not pardon him from crimes committed in the past when he knew what he was doing.
