Your post made me laugh, though, because I used to know a very elderly Italian lady who spoke like a mob boss. I think she actually was a mob boss. She was always very nice to me because I used to take care of her family's Poodle, and every time I saw her, even years later, we always spoke about the dog.

This mob boss lady would always reach across the table, grab each one of my hands, stare deeply into my eyes, and whisper, One Husband. One Dog. She's with him in the mausoleum. One Husband. One dog.

These days, she's with both of them in the mausoleum, so I pray they're all resting in peace.

Your meme just reminded me of them, so thanks for the memory.

When I was in high school I tried to join the National Guard, and my test result put me in the "officer candidate" category. Unfortunately, though, I had physical ailments that prevented me from enlisting.

Although I most definitely did not serve in the military, like others in my family, I never lost the drive to help this country, so I am grateful to be able to put some skills (many of which I honed here on the board) to use in order to destroy [THEM] from the shadows in this Ghost Army thing of ours.
