"Yesterday, December 7, 1941—a date which will live in infamy—the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by the naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan."

It's becoming more and more apparent that Trump is going to do the biggest rug pull from underneath his "America first. Not our wars." electoral base come January 21st 2025.
His call for not getting involved in the current Syrian debacle is such a farce. It's catering to people who are either totally propagandized or completely unaware how deeply the US is already involved there, which is the majority of Trump's electoral base.
The US simply cannot get involved even more there, besides putting many more boots on the ground. The US air force is literally running the air cover for the so-called rebels. It's involved in Syria up to its neck.
The US will continue having its presence by the Syrian oil fields, stealing 80% of Syria's oil output, as it's doing right now.
The new SpaceX contract to provide Ukraine with 3000 additional Starshield terminals signals the intention to continue arming Ukraine, thus continuing the path upwards on the escalation ladder.
And last, but not least, Trump's cabinet picks, who are going to be the stakeholders of "war and peace," have openly signaled their intentions, completely contrary to some of Trump's promises.
