The guide opened with the words: “A City for All Londoners”, and promised to appeal to all ages, genders, sexual orientations and family make-ups.

Also, in a dramatic display of his infantile pettiness, in 2018, Mayor Kahn gave special permission for an unflattering balloon of "Baby Trump" to fly in a parade:
The inflatable balloon called Baby Trump flies above the statue of wartime British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Westminster Abbey in Parliament Square, Westminster, the seat of the U.K. Parliament, during Trump's visit to the U.K. on July 13, 2018.Baby Trump is a 20-foot high orange blimp depicting Trump as an enraged, smartphone-clutching infant - andLondon Mayor Sadiq Khan gave special permission for it to appear above the capitalbecause, he said, of its protest rather than artistic nature. It was the brainchild of Graphic designer Matt Bonner. Richard Baker / In Pictures via Getty Images.
