War is never justified unless you are willing to die yourself and send you children off to die, period. It has to be that imperative.

That's right. You can't send someone else to die if you wouldn't die yourself for said war. Nor can you send someone else's child to die for said war unless you would send your own child.
I've read book one of On War by Von Clausewitz and looking inward, I think I have the desirable traits of not easily angered, but once committed, I go all in. It takes years to get me angry. My non-desirable traits are that I probably have a considerable amount of stubbornness which is undesirable for tactical thought.
