Lara Trump, daughter-in-law to President-elect Donald Trump, announced her resignation as Co-Chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC) on Sunday.

The announcement comes amidst growing speculation that she may be eyeing a run for Florida’s soon-to-be-vacant Senate seat, currently held by Senator Marco Rubio, who is poised to serve as Secretary of State in the Trump administration.

In a heartfelt social media post, Lara Trump reflected on her tenure with the RNC, emphasizing the accomplishments achieved under her leadership during what she described as “the most consequential election in American history.”

She expressed gratitude to the RNC team and her father-in-law, President Donald Trump, for trusting her with such a pivotal role.

Her statement concluded with the announcement that she would formally step down at the next RNC meeting.

She wrote:

“Serving as the GOP co-chair throughout the course of the most consequential election in American history has truly been the honor of my life.

At the RNC, we had three distinct goals:

1) surpass all fundraising records

2) build the largest army of lawyers and poll watchers to ensure election integrity

and, 3) turn out millions of Americans and low prepencity voters during early voting.

We accomplished all three.

The job I came to do is now complete and I intend to formally step down from the RNC at our next meeting.

Thank you to our incredible team at the RNC, our amazing Chairman Whatley, and, of course, thank you to President Donald Trump — we are so proud of you and I’m grateful you trusted me in this position.”

Lara Trump’s resignation has only fueled rumors that she is eyeing the Senate seat that will be vacated by Senator Marco Rubio, who has been tapped by President-elect Trump to serve as Secretary of State.

In an interview with the AP, Lara Trump confirmed she is giving the opportunity serious consideration.

“It is something I would seriously consider,” she told AP in an interview. “If I’m being completely transparent, I don’t know exactly what that would look like. And I certainly want to get all of the information possible if that is something that’s real for me. But yeah, I would 100% consider it.”

Appearing on Fox News on Sunday with Howard Kurtz, Lara Trump addressed the political opportunities tied to her family name, acknowledging both its advantages and challenges.

Howard: Ron DeSantis is going to appoint a senator to fill the vacancy in Florida left by Marco Rubio. Is it an asset being a Trump?

Lara Trump: Well, some may say it’s an asset, some may say it’s not an asset. I think it depends on how you look at it. Certainly, you know, we’ve all had the opportunity over the past nine years to fully involve ourselves in politics, to understand the American people and what they want. And we’ve all been residents of the state of Florida now for over three years. If that’s something that’s put in front of me, it would be a true honor.

But, yeah, look, I think probably my last name does heighten my political profile a little bit. But I’ve got a proven track record. I’ve been co-chair of the RNC during the most consequential election of our lifetime. We were so proud of what we did at the RNC—making sure there was election integrity, getting the early vote out, turning out low-propensity voters, and raising huge amounts of money.

So I would say that my track record speaks for itself. Maybe having the last name Trump is just a little bit extra. I’m always happy to have it.

Biden Regime Celebrates ‘Pansexual and Panromantic Pride Day’ – The Responses Are Absolutely Brutal

Joe Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) wants everyone to remember this important day in the American public calendar.

“Today on Pansexual and Panromantic Pride Day, everyone deserves to feel seen, respected, and supported—no matter who they love,” the HHS wrote in a post on the X platform.

“Create a world where everyone feels proud to be themselves!”

The post was met with immediate mockery and derision, including from X owner Elon Musk.

“At this point, I’m just confused. I have no idea what they even mean,” Musk wrote.

Other incoming Trump officials and conservative voices, including Stephen Miller, Vivek Ramaswamy and Indiana’s Senator-elect Jim Banks, also weighed in on the post.

According to Workplace Pride, pansexuality “is to have a sexual or romantic attraction not limited by gender, or gender identity, while to be panromantic is the same except without the sexual attraction.”

“Attraction is not dependent on gender; pan people are attracted to the person before anything else,” the organization explains. “However, this doesn’t mean they’re attracted to anyone and everyone!”

Meanwhile, another LGBT organization explains that “Pansexual and Panromantic Pride Day” is an “annual event to celebrate Pansexuality and Panromanticism.”

“It’s also a time to raise awareness of Pansexual and Panromantic people and highlight their life experiences,” The Rainbow Stores explains.

“It’s a time when the community can share stories and experiences and speak out around the issues faced.”

So there you have it. Who needs Christmas when you already have this annual event to look forward to?
