Senator Cotton just dropped a doozy on Hegseth nomination…
December 10, 2024 (2 hours ago)
The fight to confirm Pete Hegseth as the next Defense Secretary is way harder than it should be—and we can thank our crooked, convoluted government for that. Thankfully, now, we’ve got a doozy of an update from Senator Tom Cotton, who believes Hegseth has made a turnaround and has the votes to get confirmed.
Actually, we recently published an article on how the tide was turning for Pete, and it looks like that story was spot-on.
Revolver: The good news is that the tide is turning against the uniparty. Pete had a phenomenal day with some one-on-one Senate meetings and an absolute barn burner of an interview with Megyn Kelly. Suddenly, he’s back in the game with a new momentum. The next 48 hours will be critical, but for now, Pete is changing the narrative—and the uniparty knows it, so Lord only knows what they’ll throw at him next.
Dustin Grage: It was a very good day for Pete Hegseth. My sources sounded deflated to start the day, but today’s senate meetings, the Pen Hegseth, and @megynkelly interviews went very well. New life has been shot into the campaign to confirm Pete. The next 24 to 48 hours will be critical.
Ironically, right now, we’re stuck with Lloyd Austin, the regime’s current bumbling buffoon in charge of national defense. This is the guy who decided to stop showing up to work without telling anyone while the country was facing national security issues. Turns out, he was dealing with pancreatic cancer, but apparently, that little detail wasn’t worth mentioning to his boss occupying the White House.
Lloyd Austin sailed through his nomination without a hitch, thanks to a bunch of Republicans who happily fell in line with the regime.Only two senators—Josh Hawley and Mike Lee—voted against him. The rest of these nimrods just went along with it and never attacked Austin the way they’re now going after Trump’s pick.
Ask yourself why that is—and then really think about who our actual enemies are.
Many of these same Republicans are acting like Pete Hegseth is some kind of radical nutjob. Take Joni Ernst, the senator from Iowa. She made a bizarre and risky move by going after the most popular president of our lifetimeand trashing his nominee. That boneheaded decision might just cost her political career.
We covered that mess in another story, and let’s just say—it wasn’t pretty.
Revolver: It looks like Joni Ernst is busy digging her own political grave. Her behind-the-scenes war against Pete Hegseth has sparked a firestorm from MAGA, who were fed up with the RINO senator from Iowa long before she started attacking Trump’s nominees.
Many are shocked at Joni’s idiotic decision to go after Hegseth, and to nobody’s surprise, it’s backfiring spectacularly. Let’s not forget—this is the same woman who eagerly pushed through Biden’s national security pick, the warmongering, midwit disaster, Lloyd Austin. You know, the guy who didn’t even bother to inform the White House that he was battling cancer and missing work during critical national security moments.
Her pushback against a patriotic, highly qualified, anti-war vet like Pete Hegseth, while giving a thumbs-up to a DEI disaster like Austin, is beyond infuriating.
Here’s today’s spoiler alert: Hegseth is more than qualified, and Joni has no business attacking him. As a matter of fact, Pete isn’t just highly qualified—he’ll also make sure your sons and daughters aren’t dying en masse on foreign soil so the Deep State can get richer and build another infinity pool.

Let’s hope Tom Cotton is right, and Hegseth will sail through the confirmation process. Because President Trump has a clear and strong mandate from the people to clean and shake up our corrupt government—and he needs his MAGA team to get it done. Anything or anyone else means the same old status quo, and most Americans are done with that. If they wanted more of the same, they would’ve voted for establishment DEI candidate Kamala Harris.
