Where all the debris finally settles is anybody’s guess, but one thing that’s been blasted for sure is the media’s credibility with the public. Fewer than one in three respondents to a Gallup poll now say they trust the media’s reporting “a great deal” or a “fair amount.” It’s a poll the Gallup organization
If modern journalism continues to see its role as deciding which facts the public shouldn’t see for fear of hurting Democrats, its credibility hasn’t hit rock bottom yet.
