Secretary of State Blinken Meets with Turkish Foreign Minister on the Future of Syria

Secretary of State Antony Blinken delivered brief remarks to reporters before meeting with Turkish officials including the country's president and foreign minister, saying Turkey was a key partner in the Middle East, particularly as the U.S. sought to advance its interests following the collapse of the Assad regime in Syria. Secretary Blinken said the U.S. also continued to work on a deal to release Israel and American hostages being held by Hamas in Gaza.
