How am I to align my Magnetic Azimuth Detector if I don't have a good compass rose?
I looked into that thing, it's not pertinent to this board but it's still pretty cool. They not only solved the problem of gears/belts, they also created the pathway the delete the clutch/torque converter. Pretty cool invention, hope they make good $$.

I've already got a metal container, dual walled w/a low power magnetron so it can't 'phone home'. Dear Lord in Heaven, send me a big ole drone and let it hoover aimlessly above my property.
Possibly, the problem, unlike other inventions, this one isn't hidden or complex beyond understanding, it's "a clever solution" w/some geometry and math. You could easily model it, and 3D print a prototype to play with unlike so many other inventions that have 'hidden tech'.
