The search continued Friday for an Anchorage woman who authorities believe was pulled into the waters off a beach on the northern shores of the Hawaiian island of Kaua’i earlier this week.
Fire department officials in the County of Kaua’i stated in a release Friday morning that 32-year-old Lauren Cameron was last seen Wednesday afternoon near Hanakāpī‘ai Beach, which sits along the Nā Pali Coast, an area that draws visitors for its steep, lush coastline.
Cameron is one of two supervisors in the Women, Infants, and Children program, known as WIC.
