Guess Who Was Right About the Notorious Duke University Rape Case Years and Years Ago (VIDEO)

This week, we learned that Crystal Magnum, the exotic dancer who accused three Duke University students of raping her in the early 2000s, made up the whole story. It was a lie and she finally admitted it.

Do you know who had the right instincts on this story from the very beginning? Stephen Miller, the adviser and friend to Donald Trump.

Miller was a student at Duke at the time and was a columnist for the school’s conservative student newspaper. He appeared on Court TV and other networks at the time, casting doubt on the story and urging others not to ruin the lives of the accused students.

His defense of these students is even mentioned in his speaker bio at the Young America’s Foundation:

Stephen Miller is one of the original and leading voices, thinkers and strategists of the America First Movement. He is consulted regularly by Members of Congress and state and local leaders, appears routinely on television and radio, and is now building the next chapter for the movement to ensure the future is written by America First.

Growing up in Los Angeles, Stephen Miller got his start in politics during high school, regularly appearing on talk radio to expose radical indoctrination in the classroom.

From there, Miller went to Duke University, where he led a chapter of Students for Academic Freedom, served as the Executive Director of the Duke Conservative Union, organized for Young America’s Foundation, and wrote as a columnist for the Duke Chronicle. He was one of the earliest voices, in print and on television, warning against a rush to judgement in the Duke Lacrosse case.

Watch this video with various clips of Miller appearing on news programs, asking questions about the case and defending the accused.

In the mid 2000s, Stephen Miller was ridiculed for suggesting the Duke lacrosse players were innocent of r*pe allegations.

This week, accuser Crystal Mangum admitted it was all a lie.

He was right about all of it. Will anyone in the liberal media ever give him credit now that we know the truth?

After Almost Two Decades, Duke Lacrosse Accuser Finally Admits She Destroyed Lives With a Lie (Video)

Crystal Magnum, an exotic dancer who accused three innocent Duke lacrosse players of rape and destroyed their lives, has finally admitted she lied.

In 2006, Mangum accused the three men of rape after a party. The false accusation ignited a national firestorm and engaged the race-rage apparatus.

Magnum was recently interviewed from prison, where the darling of the liberal media is serving time after she was convicted of second-degree murder for the 2013 stabbing murder of her boyfriend.

Mangum told “Let’s Talk with Kat,” host Katerena DePasquale, “I testified falsely against them by saying that they raped me when they didn’t, and that was wrong. And I betrayed the trust of a lot of other people who believed in me.”

“I made up a story that wasn’t true because I wanted validation from people and not from God,” Mangum said.

She added that she hopes the men will forgive her.

“I want them to know that I love them, and they didn’t deserve that, and I hope that they can forgive me.”

Watch:

More than 18 years after the Duke lacrosse allegations, Crystal Mangum admits that she made it all up.

In 2007, the victims of Mangum’s cruel hoax, Dave Evans, Collin Finnerty, and Reade Seligmann, reached an undisclosed financial settlement with Duke University.

Duke University released the following statement announcing the settlement:

This has been an extraordinary year for Duke students David Evans, Collin Finnerty and Reade Seligmann, who were accused of serious crimes they did not commit. In April, after a thorough review, the North Carolina Attorney General declared that they were innocent of all charges and that the charges never should have been brought. We welcomed their exoneration and deeply regret the difficult year they and their families have had to endure. They conducted themselves with great dignity during their long ordeal.

Duke University released the following statement following their settlement today with the 3 Duke lacrosse players who were wrongly accused of rape:

This has been an extraordinary year for Duke students David Evans, Collin Finnerty and Reade Seligmann, who were accused of serious crimes they did not commit. In April, after a thorough review, the North Carolina Attorney General declared that they were innocent of all charges and that the charges never should have been brought. We welcomed their exoneration and deeply regret the difficult year they and their families have had to endure. They conducted themselves with great dignity during their long ordeal.

The players also released a gracious statement considering the hell they were put through this past year:

Today, we are pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement with Duke University to resolve any differences between us.

Years ago, each of us made a decision to attend Duke because it is one of the greatest universities in the nation. We chose to represent the University on the athletic field and in the classroom as student athletes. We were honored to be admitted and proud to wear the Duke uniform and to compete against the best lacrosse teams in the nation. Duke is a very special place. It balances top-notch academics and athletics, and it offers unparalleled opportunities to its students. We were drawn to Duke because of its sense of community.

The events of the last year tore the Duke community apart, and forcibly separated us from the University we love. It is impossible to fully describe what we, our families and team endured. As we said from day one, we are innocent. But it took three hundred and ninety-four days, and the intervention of the North Carolina Attorney General, before our innocence was formally declared. We were the victims of a rogue prosecutor concerned only with winning an election, and others determined to railroad three Duke lacrosse players and to diminish the reputation of Duke University. Throughout our ordeal, however, we never forgot the lessons we learned, both on and off the field, about character, integrity, and honor. Those lessons, and the love and support of our wonderful families, friends, lawyers and supporters across the country helped us to prevail against those who refused to seek the truth and to protect all citizens from injustice.

We hope that today’s resolution will begin to bring the Duke family back together again, and we look forward to working with the University to develop and implement initiatives that will prevent similar injustices and ensure that the lessons of the last year are never forgotten.

Trump Can Fire Anyone in DC He Wants to, Thanks to What the Democrats Did to Sean Spicer in 2021

Do you remember Sean Spicer? He was Trump’s first White House Press Secretary in 2017 and the left loved to hate him. Saturday Night Live mocked him on a regular basis and journalists accused him of being a liar.

Spicer is back in the news this week because something the Democrats did to him a few years back set a precedent that Democrats and the media are going to absolutely hate.

If any of Joe Biden’s people insist on keeping their jobs, Trump is going to be able to fire them and Democrats will have nothing to say about it.

Paul Bedard explains at the Washington Examiner:

Trump can fire anybody he wants, thanks to Sean Spicer

President-elect Donald Trump is arriving at the White House armed with a legal weapon that will let him fire any of President Joe Biden’s appointees.

Thanks in part to a court fight former Trump White House spokesman Sean Spicer lost over his firing by Biden from a three-year term to the Board of Visitors to the United States Naval Academy, the incoming president will have the legal backing to dump any of Biden’s over 4,000 appointments who try to stick around.

And the best part, Spicer told Secrets, “They’ll have no one to blame but Biden himself.”

The case dates to Sept. 8, 2021, when Biden began to fire Trump allies from the visitor boards at the academies of the Navy, the Air Force, and the Army.

Spicer and others, including Russ Vought (just picked by Trump to head the Office of Management and Budget) and former Trump counselor Kellyanne Conway, were unceremoniously dumped despite several of them having time left on their three-year terms.

Spicer’s lawsuit forced Democrats to claim that Biden could fire anyone he wanted and they won the case. Now they have to live with that legal precedent as Trump heads back to the White House.

It’s going to be really funny when the media figures this out.

Once again, Democrats are going to regret a rule that they themselves put in place.
