Florida Mom Charged with Terrorism for Angry Comment to Blue Cross After Her Claim Was Denied
Florida: Briana Boston. a mother of 3 children, who police say was upset over a denied insurance claim, was arrested after police say she made threats against Blue Cross Blue Shield. The Lakeland Police Department said, in a recorded call with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Briana Boston was heard saying, ‘Delay, deny, depose. You people are next.’ The phrase began trending last week after those words were found on shell casings from bullets used to kill UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York City.
Mrs. Boston is charged with a second degree felony of a written threat to kill or injure, or conduct a mass shooting, or an act of terrorism. This is a serious charge, and she now faces up to 15 years in prison. Her bail was set at $100,000 and she is also under house arrest with GPS monitoring.
She is getting support from the public on GoFundMe as Americans are frustrated with health insurance and are critical of the overzealous police, prosecutor and judge working on behalf of the medical establishment.
