F*cked up conundrum.
We are currently the worlds largest producer of Petroleum:

Also, check out Air Products Inc. – look up their Blue Green Gray hydrogen projects. I have a former colleague working there now, he says they have something like $50B worth of H projects on the books (gov't and private). Which really makes me think we are not going for electricity long run, but Hydrogen….i'm guessing that is way out on the horizon.

Al-Qaeda has techniques which it has used to build up its capabilities through local jihadi organizations. These groups, which identify with aspects of its ideology, start out as local militias in the Gaza Strip or in Libya, but nonetheless come into contact with global jihadi networks which provide weapons, combat skills, and finally recruit them into the al-Qaeda network. Clearly what happened in Libya did not stay a local phenomenon but radiated out to the entire region and beyond.
