As children we used to lay on the hill and lawn in front of the Griswold Hotel in Groton CT, at night. There were always some events happening there.
We were counting the stars. It was so much fun. It was the perfect place because it was across the street from the Thames River.
That was in the early 60's when it was open and alive. Shortly after, maybe 4 years it shut down. We as democrats, "or really children of democrats" were told to be proud of John F. Kennedy and his wife Jackie had spent time there at The Griswold.
Us kids really didn't know what it meant about demsn. But it made our parents happy.
I think I started to appreciate the stars at that time, my Mom was a cloud gazer. She could always see leprechauns in the clouds during the day. I ended up as a night gazer to see the stars.
Anyway, I've always appreciated nightshift. The autists and anons here are devoted and in synchronicity with life, but it seems to be few and far between, but its still a comfy place.
Don't forget you are always appreciated even if you don't hear it much
Autists and anons that left, its time to come back, out mandala needs to be put back together.
