Prince Charles claims he didn’t know bishop was a pedophile, defends friendship with abuser

https://www.rt.com/uk/433773-prince-charles-pedophile-bishop/

Prince Charles has told a public inquiry he was unaware that a bishop he was friends with for over 20 years was a pedophile, because he didn’t understand the clergyman’s caution for gross indecency included an admission of guilt.

The prince has revealed that he formed a close friendship with Peter Ball for more than 20 years, until 2015, when the bishop was convicted for sexually abusing over a dozen victims. In 1993, Ball had to resign his ministry following a police investigation into his abuse of boys and young men that led to him accepting a caution.

Liberal actor faces ire for nice tweet about conservative pundit

https://www.rt.com/usa/433741-mark-duplass-ben-shapiro-tweet/

Liberal actor Mark Duplass has been forced to apologise for a tweet praising conservative commentator Ben Shapiro as a “nice” person whose “intentions are good.”

‘The Mindy Project’ star directed his tweet to “fellow liberals” and advised them to follow Shapiro if they were interested in “crossing the aisle” and hearing opinions from those who disagree with them politically.

Roseanne Barr © Phil McCarten ‘I thought she was white’: Roseanne apologizes for racist tweet

“I don’t agree with him on much but he’s a genuine person who once helped me for no other reason than to be nice. He doesn’t bend the truth. His intentions are good,” the since-deleted tweet read.

But it turned out not many of Duplass’ fans were interested in hearing new opinions. As soon as the actor hit send on the seemingly innocent musing, the backlash began with liberals tweeting him to express their disgust at his apparent endorsement of Shapiro, who they said was “transphobic” and someone who “mocked” the LGBT community.

Duplass caved to the pressure immediately, issuing a statement of apology calling his original tweet “a disaster on many levels” and saying that he should be more “diligent and careful” on social media.

>How many pedos can Charlie know and still get away with the “I never realized” cop out?

He will keep getting away with it until one of his friends escapes the doorknob and proves Charles participated.

I mean the upper class English pedo/homo is such a cliche isn't it? Normalized with them bastards.

Lords puzzled as Home Office seeks more leeway in using child informants against gangs, terrorists

https://www.rt.com/uk/433745-child-informants-uk-debate/

British law enforcement wants more leeway over how they are allowed to deploy underage sources during an investigation. A House of Lords committee believes that children’s well-being may be at risk.

The Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act of 2000 defines how British police can use covert human intelligence sources, or CHIS, during an investigation. A CHIS may be younger than 18, but in that case, special restrictions apply. For example, a kid under 16 may not be deployed to investigate his parents or guardians. Also, an authorization for the deployment of a juvenile informant may only last a month rather than 12 months for an adult.

The Home Office believes one month is too short and is seeking to extend the period to four months. The suggested amendment was laid before the House of Lords’ Secondary Legislation Scrutiny Committee, which is chaired by Lord Trefgarne, a former Tory government minister, and they believe the ministry’s justification for the change is skewed. Their concerns were outlined in a report published on Thursday.
