It didnt click with me last loaf but I just remembered, his NAMBLA mentor Lloyd Kaufman, is one of the founders of Troma Films

that created The Toxic Avenger, and many similar B rated films of the same style.

Troma Films is also where Gunn got his start in the industry

Ive seen Cannibal Holocaust. Back before all this became reality, I watched a lot of horror flicks and movies in general, and CH had kind of a following because of its weird style and graphic content.

I remember the turtle scene.

When CH was released, if I remember the story right, a judge ordered the filmmaker to bring the entire cast to a court hearing to make sure they actually were still alive.

'Sudden' tornadoes slam central Iowa, ripping through Vermeer plant and tearing chunks off buildings in Marshalltown and Bondurant

At least five tornadoes battered central Iowa Thursday afternoon, skimming roofs off buildings at two manufacturing plants, toppling the top of a courthouse clock tower and damaging numerous houses and vehicles.

Miraculously, no fatalities were reported as of late Thursday night, and many of those taken to local hospitals were treated and released with minor injuries.

โ€œWeโ€™re very blessed that everyoneโ€™s OK,โ€ Marshalltown police Capt. Brian Batterson said.
