I am not sure how Mueller has power to give a deal such as that as I would think Sessions would have to sign off on any deal of that magnitude. I mean if he doesn't then that would mean Mueller and RR literally have free reign over the justice department and can be stopped by nothing. That right there is the bigger story than the deal in my eyes.
The only way I could see them getting deals without Trump raising a shitstorm would be if they flipped on a bigger fish which, honestly, might be plausible. Awan especially as they had that guy dead to rights so either we have a BIG fucking problem in the DOJ or they flipped.
