05/11/2024 08:30
The import value of goods from the United States was more than 12 percent higher in 2023 than it was in 2022. Total Dutch goods imports declined in value over the same period by 9 percent. The US is now the second-largest supplier of goods, after Germany and ahead of Belgium and China. The import value of US crude oil and natural gas was higher, in particular. Statistics Netherlands (CBS) reports this on the basis of new figures.
