Representative Chip Roy is married to Carrah Roy, a lawyer who is based in Austin, Texas, and serves as the president at Public Interest Strategies LLC, according to her LinkedIn page.
She has held this position since May 2016.
Carrah previously worked as an associate for Spencer Stuart and as an associate attorney for Hogan & Hartson LLP.

Stefanik toppled Chip, 134-46, in a secret ballot vote conducted behind closed doors in May 2021.
She had the support of former President Donald Trump and the House’s then-top two Republicans — Kevin McCarthy and Steve Scalise.
Representative Liz Cheney, a vocal critic of Trump, had been ousted from the prestigious and influential position.
Cheney was booted for repeatedly calling out Trump for his alleged role in the US Capitol riots and for his claims that his 2020 re-election was stolen from him.
The daughter of Dick Cheney, she was among ten House Republicans who voted in 2021 to impeach Trump for allegedly inciting the January 6 riot.
Roy was considered a long shot for the position, and his candidacy seemed to be a signal to GOP leaders that hard-right Republicans expect a robust voice moving forward.
He was criticized in 2021 after allegedly appearing to make a pro-lynching remark during a House Judiciary Committee hearing on the rise in anti-Asian American violence.
