Correct, anon.
Except that the vibrations, are actually a spiral, rather than a sine wave.
As energy moves through space, it spirals, and if this is observed from the side, its a sine wave, vibration, or a particle if viewed from the front.
The difference between Energy and Mass, is the RATE of SPIRAL, when pure energy has a very tight spiral. and that mass has a loose spiral.
The unit of energy moves at exactly the same speed, but as the spiral becomes wider, the distance it has to travel, increases. this is called "relativity".
If mass wants to turn into energy, the spiral tightens, and it begins to escape the forces (gravity), that bind it, and this is called "conservation of momentum".
Also, consider kinetic energy, and potential energy.
How does the potential energy become kenetic energy?
You have to move it….
