Understand and mostly agree with the sentiment.
Saving someone who is on fire is a tricky thing. In this poor woman's situation, once her upper body was on fire, her continued breathing literally burns the lining of the lungs. If she was lucky, she'd die quickly. If she was unlucky, she'd live for hours or days in horrific agony before dying. It seems insane but sometimes the more compassionate thing is to do nothing.
