Many in the West have been taught to hate themselves. In so doing, they hate the world. As within, so without. All relationships should be viewed through the lens of self-benefit, first, and engaged when found to be mutually self-beneficial.

Everybody’s path is different, but for me, the great awakening was realizing the only ‘evil’ is inaction. Harmful is a perception as most things that end up benefiting us are at first detrimental. Adversity is a gift. A funny gift, but we aren’t the architects beyond our perception.
