israel - hamas (gaza) escalation
Hamas snipers hit an israeli soldier in what looks to be an escalation attempt (every friday they bring their militants to launch armed riots next to the gaza border).
Up until now it looked like a "show" where hamas would fly inflamable baloons to start fires in israeli areas close to gaza (caused major damage to the wildlife), and israel "retaliated" by bombing half empty hamas outpost. This time hamas snipers opened fire on israeli troops and it looks like it is about to escalate.
Some say that egypt tries to calm things down.
It almost looks orchestrated. Iran is being pressed economically, and being kept on a leash in syria (by the russians), so they try and steer up things in gaza. plus, hamas where taking heat from the gaza people for corruption, i.e. redirecting money to buying arms and to their pockets. Looks like a conflict might be in their interest.
