Also a ‘victim’ of tech layoffs. Almost alll Indian coworkers had fake degrees and coding certs from degree mills in India. They were vastly under-qualified, screwed up the code, fixed it, then re-broke it. A constant cycle. Wrote broken English notes in the code, and when customers went to see what changes were made, they went off on our management for hiring foreigners to bork the code. This was years ago, like mid 2000s, and people THEN hated foreign coders because they sucked. Customers hated talking to Indians during tech calls because they were often misunderstanding the customers and what they wanted, English was like their 4th language, and it was a mess…almost 20 years on, NOTHING HAS CHANGED and people still hate Indian tech support and coders because they suck.
