Yeah you can train Engineers within 6 months just by showing them what to do if you are a good teacher. I learned a lot from my paid internships during school. It's usually about 10% of the employees actually do the super duper brain shit and they just need the other 90% to do the monotonous shit like wire management, managing servers, updates, etc. I think if you change the societal incentives to reward Engineers instead of Youtube influencers things would change really fast.
