but onboard genset is the way to bridge whatever fuel today (gas, diesel, coal…) or towards some future cosmic electric antenna in the future

i completely agree that i want NOTHING to do with the mysterious Blackbox Controller as is in most ALL new vehicles today (EVs and conventional ICEs)
But an electric final drive train does not need to be over complicated with mysterious electronics.
