Hertz’s EV debacle exposes the green tyranny scam

Hertz’s ambitious plan to electrify its rental fleet has failed, leading to significant financial losses, including a $1 billion impairment charge, plummeting stock prices and the resignation of CEO Stephen Scherr.

The company’s EVs were expensive to maintain, depreciated rapidly and were less popular with renters than traditional gas-powered vehicles, forcing Hertz to offload Teslas at heavily discounted prices.

The article argues that the push for EVs is part of a broader globalist agenda disguised as environmental stewardship, aiming to increase government control over individuals’ lives.

EVs are criticized for their high production and maintenance costs, reliance on environmentally destructive mining practices, and strain on power grids, challenging their status as a sustainable solution.

The author urges resistance against the globalist agenda, asserting that climate change is exaggerated and that EV mandates are a form of ideological overreach, using Hertz’s failure as a cautionary example.

The recent collapse of Hertz’s electric vehicle (EV) strategy is more than just a corporate misstep – it’s a glaring indictment of the so-called “green revolution” and the globalist agenda pushing it. Hertz, once hailed as a pioneer for its ambitious plan to electrify its rental fleet, is now desperately offloading Teslas at fire-sale prices, with some 2023 Model 3s going for under $18,000. This isn’t just a business failure; it’s a cautionary tale about the dangers of blindly embracing climate change hysteria and the green tyranny it enables.

Hertz’s foray into EVs was supposed to be a win-win: a bold step toward sustainability and a savvy business move to attract eco-conscious customers. Instead, it turned into a financial disaster. The company’s EVs proved to be expensive to maintain, depreciated at an alarming rate, and were less popular with renters than traditional gas-powered vehicles. The result? A $1 billion impairment charge, plummeting stock prices, and the resignation of CEO Stephen Scherr, who admitted the EV push had become a “distraction.”

This isn’t just about Hertz. It’s about the broader agenda being pushed by global elites under the guise of combating climate change. The EV mandate is a Trojan horse for greater government control over our lives, disguised as environmental stewardship. It’s a civil rights grab masquerading as a moral imperative.

The truth is, climate change is junk science. The alarmist predictions of doom have been repeatedly debunked, yet the globalist machine continues to push its agenda, using fear and guilt to manipulate the public. The EV craze is a prime example. Governments and corporations are pouring billions into electric vehicles, ignoring their flaws and the real-world consequences of their policies. Hertz’s experience is a microcosm of what happens when ideology trumps reality.

Electric cars are NOT green

EVs are not the panacea they’re made out to be. They’re expensive to produce, expensive to maintain, and rely on a supply chain that’s anything but green. The mining of lithium and other rare earth materials for EV batteries is environmentally destructive and often relies on exploitative labor practices. And let’s not forget the strain on our power grids, which are already struggling to meet demand.

But the globalists don’t care about these inconvenient truths. Their goal isn’t to save the planet; it’s to consolidate power and control. By forcing us to abandon gas-powered cars and embrace EVs, they’re not just dictating what we drive – they’re dictating how we live. It’s green tyranny, plain and simple.

Hertz’s failure should serve as a wake-up call. The company’s decision to offload 30,000 EVs by the end of 2024 is a tacit admission that the EV experiment has failed. Customers don’t want them, and businesses can’t afford them. Yet, governments around the world continue to push EV mandates, subsidizing the industry with taxpayer dollars and punishing those who resist.

The globalist agenda is clear: they want to control every aspect of our lives, from the cars we drive to the food we eat. They’re using climate change as a smokescreen to justify their power grab, and the media is complicit in spreading their propaganda.

It’s time to push back. We must reject the green tyranny and demand accountability from those who are pushing this agenda. Climate change is not the existential threat they claim it to be, and EVs are not the solution. Hertz’s debacle is proof that the emperor has no clothes.

Let’s learn from Hertz’s mistakes and stand up to the globalist agenda. The future of our freedom depends on it.

Jeffrey Prather: Drone sightings a DISTRACTION from the Deep State’s plan to use suitcase nukes

Recent drone sightings over New Jersey and the concern over "suitcase nukes" have sparked widespread apprehension, creating a sense of insecurity among the public as President-elect Donald Trump prepares for his inauguration.

Some experts, like former intelligence officer Jeffrey Prather, theorize that these drone incidents are a tactic to distract from the Deep State's plans. They suggest that these actions may be orchestrated by elements within the CIA and other government components to shift focus to external threats.

During the Cold War, both the U.S. and Soviet Union developed small-yield nuclear weapons (e.g., B-54 Special Atomic Demolition Munition). While considered relics, the possibility of their use by hostile forces remains a critical security concern.

President-elect Trump has expressed frustration with the lack of transparency regarding the drone sightings and safety concerns. His reluctance to stay overnight at his Bedminster golf club due to these incidents highlights the real threat.

The new administration faces the challenge of distinguishing between genuine threats and distractions, addressing security breaches, and dealing with potential internal threats within the government, all while avoiding the "rally around the flag" phenomenon that could divert focus from internal issues.

As the world looks on, the impending inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump is overshadowed by ominous threats and concerns. Recent drone sightings over New Jersey, combined with the lingering specter of "suitcase nukes," have sparked widespread apprehension and confusion among the American public.

The government has remained tight-lipped about the source and intent of these drone incursions. However, some experts argue that these sightings are more than random acts of mischief and may be part of a well-coordinated effort to distract from a larger, more sinister plot.

In a recent appearance on "The Alex Jones Show" on InfoWars with guest host Mike Adams, former intelligence officer Jeffrey Prather warned that these drone incursions are not mere nuisances but are carefully orchestrated maneuvers designed to create chaos and shift focus away from the Trump administration's plans to dismantle the Deep State.

Prather said that the Central Intelligence Agency and other elements within the Deep State are orchestrating these drone incidents to create a sense of imminent threat from foreign powers like Iran or Russia. This, he argues, justifies a "rally around the flag" mentality and diverts attention from the actions of the outgoing administration.

The history of "suitcase nukes" adds another layer of complexity to the security landscape. During the Cold War, both the United States and the Soviet Union developed small-yield nuclear weapons that could be easily transported and deployed. These portable yet deadly weapons were designed to cause widespread destruction in a localized area.

One such device, the B-54 Special Atomic Demolition Munition (SADM), developed by the U.S. Army, had a maximum explosive yield of less than one kiloton. While the existence of these weapons may seem like a relic of the past, the possibility of their use by hostile forces cannot be entirely dismissed.

Former Soviet Lt. Gen. Alexander Lebed's claims in 1997, stating that around 250 suitcase nukes were created by the Soviet Union with 100 missing, still resonate through intelligence circles. The potential for these devices to be used to destabilize the new administration is a serious security concern. (Related: Cold War's deadly legacy: 100 Missing SUITCASE NUKES threaten modern security.)

Trump concerned about drone attack, but not a suitcase nuke bombing

Trump himself has expressed frustration over the lack of transparency from the government regarding the drone sightings. He said at a press conference Dec. 16: "The government knows what is happening. Our military knows where they took off from. If it's a garage, they can go right into that garage. Something strange is going on, and for some reason, they don't want to tell the people."

Trump's reluctance to stay overnight in his Bedminster golf club due to safety concerns over the drone activity illustrates the real threat these incidents pose. But experts like Prather caution that the risk of a bombing, whether with a genuine nuclear device or a simulated attack, cannot be ruled out. Such an incident could occur during Trump's inauguration or at other key locations, such as the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv.

Biden considering clemency for inmates on death row, including barbaric child murderers

Outgoing President Joe Biden is reportedly considering commuting the death sentences of most, if not all, of the 40 men on federal death row, effectively ending the use of capital punishment in the federal system.

Attorney General Merrick Garland has recommended commuting the sentences to life imprisonment. Biden's decision is seen as controversial and potentially catastrophic for public safety.

The list includes notorious killers such as Kaboni Savage, who murdered 12 people, including four children, and Robert Bowers, who killed 11 people in the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting.

Biden's clemency decisions, including pardoning his son Hunter Biden and commuting sentences for convicted felons like the "Black Widow" and a financial embezzler, have raised serious concerns about leniency for those who committed heinous crimes.

Critics argue that this decision sends the wrong message about justice and accountability, suggesting that even the most severe crimes may not warrant the death penalty.

Outgoing President Joe Biden is reportedly considering commuting the death sentences of most, if not all, of the 40 men currently on federal death row for murder.

This decision would effectively end the use of capital punishment in the federal system, a move that's not just controversial, but potentially catastrophic for public safety.

According to a new report by the Wall Street Journal, the president's decision is being driven by Attorney General Merrick Garland, who has recommended Biden commute the sentences to life imprisonment for all but a handful of the cases. Garland's recommendations often serve as a cover for presidents to take controversial actions and this time is no exception.

However, the list of death row inmates includes some of the most heinous killers in recent history. Five of the men on this list murdered children. Five more butchered fellow inmates, and one even killed a prison guard with a hammer while serving a life sentence for raping and murdering his wife, a U.S. Marine. These are not the kind of individuals you want to be sharing a life sentence with.

Kaboni Savage, a Philadelphia drug dealer convicted of committing or ordering the deaths of 12 people, including four children, is on the list. So is Sanders, who in 2010 kidnapped and then shot a 12-year-old girl, Lexis Roberts, four times and cut her throat, after also murdering her mother. Iouri Mikhel, who was convicted of murdering five Russian and Georgian immigrants after kidnapping them for ransom is also included. These are not just murderer's row; they're a list of sociopaths who need to be kept behind bars and kept away from the rest of society, critics point out.

Then there's Robert Bowers, who in 2018 fatally shot 11 people at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, and Dylann Roof, who massacred nine black parishioners in a racist 2015 attack on the Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, SC. Both Bowers and Roof are on the list for potential commutation. And they're not alone. Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who with his late brother killed three and wounded hundreds in 2013, is also on federal death row.

Instead of facing the justice they so richly deserve, they might be looking at the possibility of spending the rest of their lives in prison, potentially with the chance of parole.

This isn't just about these specific individuals, though. It's about a fundamental shift in how people view justice and accountability. It's about sending a message that even the worst of the worst don't deserve the ultimate punishment for their crimes.

Trump warns U.S. could take over Panama Canal if Panama continues to impose “rip-off” passage fees on American ships

President-elect Donald Trump is criticizing the fees Panama imposes on U.S. shipping passing through the Panama Canal as "exorbitant," and suggests that Washington could retake control of the canal if changes aren't made.

Trump has also accused Panama of allowing China to exert too much influence over the Panama Canal, suggesting that Chinese investments in infrastructure near the canal are a means of economically taking control.

Panamanian President Jose Raul Mulino has rejected Trump's claim that the fees are "ridiculous," noting that the tariffs are transparently set and necessary to maintain and expand canal services.

Mulino has also rejected Trump's assertion that the Panama Canal is owned by foreign nations and his proposal to cede sovereignty of the canal to Washington.

President-elect Donald Trump has criticized the government of Panama for imposing what he called "exorbitant" fees on American shipping and suggested that the United States could seek to regain control of the Panama Canal if the situation does not change.

In a post on his Truth Social network account, Trump described the fees charged by Panama as "ridiculous" and accused the country of abusing its control over the canal.

He emphasized how America constructed the canal in 1914 and how it is crucial to American trade, with over 70 percent of the cargo passing through the canal either originating in or destined for the United States.

Trump also criticized the 1977 Torrijos-Carter Treaties, which transferred control of the canal to Panama in 1999, calling the decision "foolish." He argued that the canal was intended for Panama to manage, not for other nations, such as China, to exert influence. His comments reflect concerns about Chinese investments in infrastructure near the canal, including ports and a bridge, though Panama has denied any foreign control over the waterway.

Panamanian President Jose Raul Mulino responded firmly to Trump's remarks, asserting Panama's sovereignty over the canal. Mulino stated that the canal’s tariffs are set transparently and are necessary to fund its maintenance and expansion. He emphasized that the Panama Canal Authority, an autonomous government agency, oversees its operations and that Panama has made significant investments to modernize the canal.

"The tariffs are not set on a whim," Mulino said, addressing Trump's complaints about rising fees. He noted that the canal's revenue, which reached nearly $5 billion in the last fiscal year, is vital to Panama’s economy, contributing about one-fifth of the government's annual revenue. (Related: Trump demanding NATO members spend 5% of GDP on defense – may impose TARIFFS on allies that do not pay up.)

Mulino: Every square meter of the canal belongs to Panama

The Panama Canal, a 51-mile waterway connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, is a cornerstone of global trade, handling approximately five percent of world commerce. Its strategic importance has made it a focal point of geopolitical discussions, particularly as severe weather and operational challenges impact its operations.

In 2023, droughts in Central America forced the canal to reduce the number of daily ship crossings it allowed, leading to increased fees for reserving transit slots and increased prices worldwide.

Trump's comments have sparked debate over the feasibility of the U.S. reclaiming control of the canal. While he did not specify how such a move would be achieved, his remarks have drawn strong reactions from Panamanian officials and citizens. Mulino reiterated that "every square meter of the canal belongs to Panama and will continue to belong" to the country, underscoring national unity on the issue.

The exchange highlights the complex history of U.S.-Panama relations, which have been shaped by the canal's construction, the 1989 U.S. invasion to oust Panamanian leader Manuel Noriega, and the eventual transfer of canal control to Panama in 1999.

Trump's suggestion of reclaiming the canal has raised questions about the potential impact on bilateral relations and the canal's role in global trade.
