Some good information from this gentlemanand and as he states, there are some things here that don't make sense.
Flt Data recorder will show the configuration, flaps, slats, gear, hydraulic systems etc……..CVR will have everything said between the crew, checklist called for, ATC comms etc…….whole lot to find out here. In essense, dealing with all of this seems like a lot, and it is but, it is not catastrophic and this aircraft should have landed safely. Aircraft flies good on one engine, Wx was good. Still a lot of positive things in their favor. Will have to wait for the data and CVR to really find out what happened. What a tragedy.
