if it is cheaper to manufacture complex goods in country x the human problem is NOT the desperate poor citizens of country x.

if it is cheaper to import cost-restricted to end-around security concerns, the human problem is NOT the desperate poor imported non-citizen individuals.

corporations are profit seeking, by definition non-nationalist, and non-loyal "globalist" forces. they will turn to effective profit measures at any opportunity.

what combats this? a level HUMAN playing field. you like your civil rights and liberties? so would every human being drawing breath today.

you like your minimum wage supporting a fair merit-based skill wage economy? so would every human being looking for work today.

make no mistake, there is a globalist agenda - and it is to keep human "man hour" work capital priced as low as possible.

h1bs WITH ARTIFICIALLY LOW SALARY CAPS and local minimum wages are tools of such an agenda.

anyone who calls an effort to level the field across all of humanity "evil" or "globalist" is an idiot or a tool of a global corporate effort.

want to keep your national identity? work hard, work smart, but work fair. every man is your brother. every woman is your sister.

that's where you're wrong.

if we allow corporations to import cheaper labor, that erodes American earning power.

recognizing that the global economy exists is the first step.

choosing to ignore that nuance at this point is just dumb.

look at simple manufacturing. there's no functional reason for shoes to be made in poor countries.

forcing labor costs to be level set across the board improves the value inherent in American workforces. our wages are undercut.
